that would be true, if people like myself weren't inclined to break their stuff. I don't break my things frequently, it's OTHER PEOPLE who use your stuff that you can't account for. If you never take your pad out of the house and coddle it every moment, then fine - don't get a warranty.
You know, the Shell station down the street exists to make money too.
You buy a product from shell and you get that product. Buying insurance for electronics is paying money for something most people will never use. Just giving money away. I never go to Shell and hand them $100 for no product.
