I got crashes in safari reloadings and while im in settings it crashes and goes back to home screen :s

I'm getting one or two single tab Safari crashes a day. Has to be iOS7, no?

It's a combination

----------

So my iPad 4, which I've owned for less than a year, crashes out of Safari multiple times per day. I upgraded thinking the increased RAM would mitigate such unacceptable failures but lo, here I am a short time later cursing the thing for crashing out of browser during a critical moment and losing two hours of work.

What gives, man? Does Apple expect me to shell out six or seven hundred dollars on an annual basis just so I can perform basic tasks like email, word processing and, god forbid, internet browsing with more than one tab open? Someone please tell me this is a temporary and egregious iOS7 blunder that'll be cleared up soon...

I just cannot accept a device that was latest and greatest a year ago now struggling with basic tasks. Even if it is some sort of memory overflow issue how can they remain mum?

I hear you, I lose school work all the time on this thing. Give Apple time, it will be sorted out.

the crash log list is getting long, crashes pretty much everytime i use it.

it crashed earlier just rotating the screen, lmao

Care to elaborate?

On a side note, "Hiding a problem" is something that I'd associate with Microsoft, Apple usually fixes them. Which requires a software update. And is not dependent on RAM size.

As much as I wanted to agree with you, I don't. 1 GB of RAM with a 64 bit processor and a super high resolution screen is far, far from ideal and you should know that.

Apple is a great company, but they screwed up on this one. They can't make miracles, but they could have made a better product with more RAM.

If they charge so much for more storage, then they should at least add more RAM with more storage.

It's a shame.

...

The Air I purchased earlier this week crashed several times with a few tabs open in Safari. And iTunes crashes a lot too on the Air and on my iPhone 5.

And the speakers were not as good as I'd hoped.

Back it went this morning. 3 Airs = 3 strikes.

I am disappointed. I love Apple products when they work (and bless this 2010 iMac for continuing to do so), but lately it seems like there's no one at the wheel. It is too bad.

I'm come clean with myself in that iPads are best left for other folks. I'll stick with Macs and the iPhone.

As far as the Air crashing, I really hope Apple fix this soon. I think it's a software problem too because I never had iTunes crash as much as in iOS7.
