are you getting HDR support?

My USB-C to HDMI cable will do 4k from my MacBook but only SDR from the M1 iPad Pro.

Using a regular HDMI cable to the Apple HDMI dongle to the iPad is still only SDR ....

In iPad settings it says (paraphrased): 'were you expecting HDR? try a new cable"

I‘m lucky enough to have an M1 iPad, and I couldn’t care less about stage manager (waste of screen real estate) but I have been hoping for full/second screen support for years, mirror is a waste of time. I also want to be able to close my iPad display and use external KB/Mouse, rather than have it go in to sleep mode, then it really does replace my laptop…
