Anybody have any QC issues with their Pro? And yes, I am anal about out of box defects, every launch year lol!

I have a chip the size of a pin head on the PVD coating (the edge next to the screen that faces up) ... can only see it if it catches the light just right.

Everything else is perfect! Don’t want a potentially worse problem like yellow or uneven screens, so no exchanges for me. But I was curious if others have any issues.

I also had a chip the size of a dust particle on the corner of the bezel. I knew it would bother me, so I returned it, since I had another order waiting for me in-store.

Seems common, unfortunately; most people probably never see it. My XS last year had one too, and I decided to live with it.

I’m kinda on the fence since there’s so many other possible things that you could get with the replacement.

I’m slightly OCD, and I’m sure if I looked hard enough at my new Pro I could find something ‘wrong’ with it. I had the 8 on launch day, and I found a tiny scratch on the back of the phone. It drove me crazy, but eventually I just learnt to live with it. Did end up putting a screen protector on the back of it though, which kinda ruined the lovely glass back.

I looked my Pro Max over pretty good when I took it out. Basically I wanted to make sure it was ok from being shipped UPS. Seems fine on mine. I’m impressed with the quality.

I have a blue-to-red vertical gradient on my iPhone 11 Pro Max—noticed it right when I powered the phone on. I already have an advanced replacement on its way.

Sharp edge around the whole front of steel band where it meets plastic gasket - Pro Max.

not sure if I’m going insane but my 11pro is giving me a tingling sensation when I’m holding it, mainly from the stainless steel bands.

I feel this to. Wondered if it’s the mix of steel band and frosted glass on hand.

Don’t look for flaws it will ruin your experience.
Agreed, but with the £1300 price tag for Pro Max 256gb I expect a properly QC product. The sharp steel band was an issue for me last year as well unfortunately but I guess Apple expect us to use a case so it’s not an issue. I don’t use a case so it is.

Oh good I’m not insane!

yeah I hope it’s just the frosted feeling, plus the phone is a fraction heavier. I got two other people to play with it and they said they couldn’t feel anything

I must got lucky this year perfect device no scuffs,dead/stuck pixels, dust under camera lens white screen even with true tone ON.

2018 my iPhone XS max came with sharp edges and large gaps between the screen second replacement came with dust under camera lens third device was perfect.

So far I have to report that I have no issues on my device of what others are reporting here. No sharp edges (both front and back), perfect screen. Just works perfect as it is.

Yes that’s different me I stopped looking for flaws and put a case since I’m on IUP program.

Well, it bugged me enough to swap. New one is near perfect!

For anybody on TMO, if you have a defect and call 611 they will credit your account for the $50 restock fee (I originally web ordered and picked one up at a store today).

They were back ordered on Midnight Green so I went with ol faithful, Space Gray ... looks just as nice 👍

I've got a speck of dust underneath the telephoto lens (bottom one) on my 11 Pro. And I think my wide angle lens is a bit dirty on the inside but I don't think that will have too much of an effect on photos. I'll head into an Apple store on Tuesday and see what they can do.

My rear cameras and flashlight do not work. Didn’t realise until I was home after a 3 hour drive. I’ve tried everything but just a black screen. Pretty embarrassing problem to have considering the camera was the only real thing they had to show off.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max came with a scratch all around the camera area. I'm waiting for the replacement to come

Several chats and calls later they say the earliest I can get a replacement is a whole month from now. This is ridiculous for a preorder right when they went on sale. When my iPhone 5 came damaged they replaced it the same week.

Edit: Manager got it expedited for me but it will still be a week or 2 maybe.
