I have something on my screen but I don't know whether its my screen protector...because I had the same thing with my screen on my iPhone XS Max. It's not a dead pixel because it isn't there all the time....it's so weird

not sure if I’m going insane but my 11pro is giving me a tingling sensation when I’m holding it, mainly from the stainless steel bands.

You're not going insane. I had the exact same thing happen to me last year with the XS. I exchanged it and the issue was resolved. You can see my original post here

first one i got had a scratch on the screen right out of the box. the replacement has a very 'rough' feeling coating on the front glass, like my finger feels a drag on the glass. my previous XS Max was very slick feeling. very weird.

Well, you can easily eliminate your theory by allowing someone else to hold your iPhone, do they experience the same ‘tingling sensation’ as you do when they hold it? If they do, then there’s something _definitely_ wrong there.

It's not a theory when there have been many posts on here, Reddit and apple forums over the last few years of people experiencing this with certain phones.

I've got a speck of dust underneath the telephoto lens (bottom one) on my 11 Pro. And I think my wide angle lens is a bit dirty on the inside but I don't think that will have too much of an effect on photos. I'll head into an Apple store on Tuesday and see what they can do.

What did they say?

I think the battery life is a defect... it’s too good to be true! Used it for 16 hours today with very heavy GPS and web + videos before it died. Oh, I also updated to iOS 13.1 on battery.

I have this too. Screen has a lot of resistance. Absolute **** compared to my X/iPad

Sharp edge around the whole front of steel band where it meets plastic gasket - Pro Max.

I feel this to. Wondered if it’s the mix of steel band and frosted glass on hand.

I have the same on my 11 Pro, the sharp edges on the plastic(between glass and stainless steel edges)around the whole body. It’s kinda annoying but I can live with it

There's something about the cameras on mine that causes a grey smudge to appear in some photos

Why pay ~$1000 for a flawed product.

If he keeps it, one day he'll notice a smudge in a photo. Then he'll see it's in every photo he took. Then he'll never unsee it.
Before the Warrenty ends he can service it in if he’s under the return period he shouldn’t return it for a new one.

I have a small piece of metal inside the bezel by the volume rocker out the box (Pro Max). I’m normally OCD but decided to keep it to avoid worse phones if I swapped.

I figure I am kind of out of luck. I have a pretty annoying defect on the finish of the metal sides. But I am in a bit of a "catch-22." I was dumb enough to activate the phone, and it is part of the Upgrade Program, so the new loan has kicked in.

I called, and Apple did approve a return/replace, but I have to mail in the 11 Pro now, and wait until mid to late October for a replacement. As you might guess, I can't be without a phone for that long. Heading to the Apple store today to see if a Genius can come up with a plan.

To be honest, my phones live 100% in a case so I could wait this out for a year if I have to and get the new and improved 12 . . . But it's rather annoying.

For ‘fun’ I checked my 11P. It is flawless except for what looks like a TINY something on the far edge inside part of the lens glass. I used to be bothered by these things. If it was closer to the center I might be. The ONLY way I could see it was to shine a flashlight on the lenses.. and TBH, there was more lint/dust on the outside than that spot. Even when I cleaned with a microfiber little pieces would show up.

My point is try not to let these little things bug you. How many people clean their lens with a cloth before taking an image.. because that will impact your photos more than a speck of dust inside the lens glass IMO.

If you are in AUP it is very likely they will take care of you... even if you weren’t support is amazing. If you don’t get the resolution that works for you politely ask for a manager. They can do returns/exchanges outside of 14 days.

Despite the issues reported in this thread, I refuse to go hunting for each one of these issues. I put my 11 pro in the usual case I always use and the only issue that sticks out to me has to do with the case clearly not taking the ever so slight increase in thickness into account. Got a limitless 3.0 coming and hopefully that fixes my “issue” and I can get back to just using my phone.

What did they say?
I brought it to my closest Apple store and they were very understanding and said they wouldn't hesitate to do an exchange. The problem was that there was none in stock and the delivery date was mid-October. I ended up going about 100km to a different store that had stock and did the exchange there.

I have the weirdest thing and I had it in my old phone - I see like this black curved line on the left side of the page as I change pages. It’s usually if I’m on Facebook. I don’t know if it’s a device issue or page issue. I’m thinking FB as it’s not always there?

Noticed a tiny scratch on the metal ring around the camera lens out of the box. Won't wipe away. Otherwise phone is perfect. Trying to keep my OCD at bay and telling myself that the exposed camera hump will eventually get scratched more.

Aww that’s totally livable! And this coming from one who’s completely anal about getting the “perfect” iPhone 📱

i received two iPhone 11's. went over both with a magnifying glass. perfect exteriors. then tested both lcd's for dead pixels. both perfect in all RGB channels. then i tested the cameras and discovered not all cameras are equal. the wide camera was defiantly better on one of them over the other. the images were brighter, had less noise and the edges were sharper. i would have never noticed it if i didn't have two phones to compare, but it was very noticeable when side by side.

seriously guys this is not trying to determine if a diamond is VS or VVS quality even then you’d need a loupe to see the cut, clarity....just use your phone as is because next year you’re gonna trade up anyway for that new design iPhone 12!
