How does the iPhone 11 Pro's screen compare to something like the new Galaxy Note? I went into a Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by how much better the Galaxy Note's screen looked compared to my XR.

i am blown away by how much better my 11 Pro display is than my XR, and beautiful as the Note 10 display is, it still has a characteristic Samsung over saturation.

I have an iPhone 6S and would really like to have an OLED on it. LCD is really noticably worse than OLED, in many ways. The only reason Apple kept the LCD for the XR is their supplier contract with Japan Display Inc. I wonder how one of the most valuable companies in the world could get into such a tied-down situation. Not upgrading to the two times more expensive iPhone11 for OLED though. It's a shame that Apple does not offer an Samsung S10e exquivalent.

Yeah, I think next year is the year. I have read countless rumors from the usual accurate sources that claim Apple will continue on with the Pro models, however, the lesser expensive (iPhone XR/iPhone 11) replacement will also get a 1080p OLED display. The Pros will get new screen sizes and the higher resolution more advanced OLED display along with the extra camera lens, stainless steel, etc. I almost went for the 11 non Pro to replace my XR for the extra GB of RAM and second lens, but decided the $300 more for the Pro for a noticeably higher res nicer color display, 3rd lens, and stainless frame are worth the extra coin.

I thought iPhones were behind in hardware?
Currently modems are the only thing they are behind on. To bad it’s the most important piece for a cell phone.

This will change next year. With a Qualcomm modem.
