Well the good news is I see no pending typhoons for the weekend early week LOL
Well, shoot: my Apple Watch is in Louisville, and the UPS Customer Center still isn't showing as a pickup option. I'll have to call them tomorrow. Fortunately, my CC had to call me about another delivery in the past, and I saved that number. I've been able to call them directly and bypass the 800 number (which is often not terribly helpful), and the rep at the CC holds it for me when the 800 number rep said "sorry, it's not an option for this package". We'll see...
The original tax hold also taxes AC+ which is never taxed. So when the charge actually goes through, the correct amount will be charged. Happens every single year.

Argh, frustrating isn’t it? I don’t get it. All the past few years I’ve done CC. And now it’s simply not showing up. Trying on multiple browsers on my MacBook.
Now I’m trying to decide: do I have it sent to a UPS Store and risk it not being available until Saturday, or do nothing, they miss the delivery, and hope that I can go get it at wherever the note on the door says it’s at later Friday night..

I preordered mine within 5 minutes from the launch and got a September 27th to October 1st delivery date. Is there any hope that I may be able to get it on launch day? I need to stop obsessively checking my order status, but I can't stop

in my past experience with ups it will change that date but then later on the date will be changed back to the original one. its like a temporary date.
Hit up UPS via twitter and they’ll do it via DM, worked for me last year.

Yeah, that's what typically happens when the UPS Store is chosen. Not always, but most of time from my experience. No thanks!
Anybody know why apple isn’t letting you trade your phone in store this year? I usually do it every year but this year it says it had to be mailed in

Actually, if you choose a UPS Store, there's a risk that it doesn't get there until Monday even though the UPS Store is open on Saturday. Not sure why, but it does happen.
