Yes. Same here. "Preparing to ship." 9/20 Delivery Date.yes me too
I don’t think they actually went back. The time change throws off the tracking. Since sometimes when they arrive in Alaska it’s still the day before they actually left ChinaTracking my iphone is now too funny! Over 24 hours, the path for my phone: ZZ--> Hong Kong --> Anchorage --> ZZ --> Incheon --> TBD. Is my phone caught in an infinite loop. LOL
I wonder why some 2:55er were left behind? I have 2 packages that were on the 2:55er boat and both of mine have departed Anchorage, AK ready to hit Louisville, KY soon.2:55er still nothing lol
I am still at an origin scan at this point. I am thinking the pallet with my phone just hasn’t been scanned or it’s really just sitting there I still have a delivery date of Friday so I am not worried yet.
At what point should the 255ers start getting worried? I would have expected something, anything by the time I woke up this morning...
I’m confused why some 2:55ers have left, and some hasn’t. Either it’s branched off into 2 different groups, or our tracking hasn’t updated. Our group was large so it may have been split up. Either way, I think it will still be fine! Probably movement this evening or in the morning. At what point should the 255ers start getting worried? I would have expected something, anything by the time I woke up this morning...
last year it was looking grim for me but THURSDAY night it made it through to KY.once it starts moving it really doesnt take all that long (see my scans where my phone left 9/18 in incheon at 4:21am and has departed anchorage 9/17 at 9:05am)... I would say if it doesnt start moving by tonight or thursday morning at the latest i would be worried at that point but even then scans can be delayed/time changes/etc and you may see some stuff happen thursday during the day/night. I'm sure some 9/20 delivery promised iphones wont make it but I trust UPS/Apple will ensure that the vast majority do. Good luck to all! I know mine is early but there is still plenty of time for movements! get the coffee brewing folks!!!
Some of the people from the 2:55 group did have movement. And among those people, there are at least 2 different groups of departuresI am a 2:55er and mine still shows as being in China. You are saying there was movement, but mine doesn’t show that.
At what point should the 255ers start getting worried? I would have expected something, anything by the time I woke up this morning...
I bet it’s funny being a UPS driver.
Pulling up to someone’s house, watching them watch you through a small sliver of blinds, giving them their iPhone while they frantically get back inside to open up the phone they’ve been tracking for a week straight on MacRumors!
One year the driver was laughing as he handed me the package. He said they were working overtime to get all the phones delivered. Every year I look at that little box and am amazed that most of them make it to the right destination on time.
Some are taking the scenic route. Some of the people from the 2:55 group did have movement. And among those people, there are at least 2 different groups of departures
Not sure about AT&T. I moved to a very rural area a couple of years ago, no AT&T signal. My AT&T 7S would not work on Verizon's network. At the risk of boring everyone, here comes the impressive part of the story. I called Apple, they said I'd have to use my annual IUP. What?? It was July. The new iPhones would launch in just 2 months. I sent an email to Tim Cook and within an hour got a call from Keegan of the online store exec relations team. He said that was absolutely not the spirit or intent of the IUP and I could rest assured he'd figure out a solution. There was no process in place for an issue like mine so he and his team invented one. It worked. I got my Verizon phone and 2 months later used the IUP to upgrade. I sent another email to Tim Cook with kudos for Keegan. Keegan and I are still in touch. Every preorder day I let him know my new iPhone is on the way but he still always offers help. That's just one reason why I love Apple. Not perfect but better than most. omg Microsoft? Some time back my ancient version of Windows XP became corrupted. I had to use that OS because I was working with students with disabilities and some of their adaptive software would not work on the newer OS. I called MS, asked them to replace it. They made me pay for an OS they no longer sold or supported. Took them a half hour just to figure out how to sell it to me, they could barely find a disk to send me. I ditched MS soon after that.Despite picking carrier all iphones sold via apple.com come unlocked
Yes for sure, my drivers remember me each year. Last two years I have used the UPS ability to track my truck once it is out. Driver told me he hates that since the route is often computer logistics planned and people have a cow when they see truck close, make a turn and not show up til afternoon.
One year the drive got out of truck (of course I was waiting) and he started coming and then said oops, wrong house and turned around then laughed and came back so they can have fun with us crazy obsessed iPhone nerds as well depending on driver LOL. Sad I won’t see mine on opening day its almost tradition LOL but I am stuck on September 27 to October 1 delivery group.
Except iPhones ordered for AT&T Next program. They are locked to AT&T even when purchased from Apple.Despite picking carrier all iphones sold via apple.com come unlocked
I think it's going to say preparing to ship until it's scanned in Louisville.Yes. Same here. "Preparing to ship." 9/20 Delivery Date.
