On IUP. 13th payment on XS Max is scheduled for 21st but loan says “On Hold”. 11 Pro Max is arriving tomorrow. Does this mean I will not be charged the payment on the 21st? Does anyone have experience with this from previous years and know if I can avoid this payment and just ship the XS back as planned?
When your new iPhone ships or when you pick it up at an Apple store, your old loannis then frozen. You have 14 days from the day you receiving the return kit to return your old iPhone. If you don’t, the old loan will be unfrozen and you’ll continue to make payments on it. If you do return it, the frozen loan (on hold), will be retired.

If it’s going to a store, it won’t be available until Monday.
I told you guys the trick early on. You have to request the hold before it hits Louisville. Mine is going to a ups store and still says Friday. Last minute changes could delay it.

I was trying to get the package to be held at a CC tomorrow too, but it wasn't on the list on MyChoice so I made a mistake of choosing a UPS store which supposedly pushed my delivery date to Monday. I just hope that they actually deliver to my store on Friday so I could go pick it up.

My CC wasn't showing up either but when I entered the exact address of the CC it finally did show up.

it never popped up on the web page. I didn't actually get any text update until today. it would show the exception for me in the app, but not on the wbepage, not for me at least. just the app. I imagine that the text alert is probably the same...shows top there but not on the web page. either way its because you made a changed to the delivery method. like I said, as long as it says deliver 9/20, and it said available to pick up 9/20 when you made the request, your all good.

Same here. The app shows that I requested that I pick up at a UPS location but the website has no mention of this. Really not impressed with UPS tracking at all.

Hmmm... so dude with 4:19am origin scan got customs scan in Louisville. That would seem to imply that the 4:45 ZZ origin scan folks should be next. Next flight from PANC to SDF is due in at 1:17pm.

Someone mentioned tracking trucks tomorrow. How does that work? Do I need to be some kind of paying subscriber to see that??

Just download the UPS app and setup an account with your delivery address or I think you can do it through the UPS website as well. I've used the app mainly though. Tomorrow you will get a notification that your package is out for delivery and you can use the app to follow the truck around...

I would still play it safe. Look how the tracking goes, every year lol. Doesn't hurt to attempt to leave a release authorization even though it may not say anything about a signature being required. It's hit and miss, with UPS. Mine says signature required. My advice would be play it safe and leave a note or authorization form or whatever if you think there's a chance that you might miss the delivery, just in case.
Last year I released the shipment through the UPS app and the driver knocked my door and required my signature anyways. I think Apple request for a release overrides that option. Thankfully I was at home.

Hmm... I made the request through Twitter because the package wasn’t showing up on MyChoice. They said my package would be available for pick up on 9/20, but the website still says that scheduled delivery is on 9/20?

Also, when you try to track your phone on the Apple Store website, does it say this?

Strange. No it doesn't.
