In recent years I’ve gotten there 20-15 min before opening and there may be one or two people ahead of me. On the way out, I noticed a decent sized line though.
One year I left a release note right on my door and they still didn’t leave the package. They stuck the dreaded red sticker right to the release. Luckily I tracked down the truck and was able to get that same day. But UPS has its own set of very strict rules with iPhones. And generally they won’t leave them with no one home.
Same time for mine, but my wife's scan was two minutes earlier, for 6:53 am, and she got a scan in Louisville earlier this morning. It'll happen for all of us, just have to have a bit more patience.
I went ahead and requested it held at the CC. I’d rather have to drive 20 mins to get it than have to wait till Saturday because I missed the delivery just to drive and get it anyway.

yeah, when i picked the store it tells you delivery date and i just clicked cancel.

Did you get anything saying they got your hold request? It doesn’t mention it on the tracking and no email.

yes i agree... but how can we get this form???? Apple or UPS wont give me one. I thought it would be on the apple.com order page but it is not! what can we do?? I work tomorrow and would be good not to have to stay home and play sick :/
Yes and it tells you when it will be available before you submit the request it said available for pickup 9/20

I’m not thrilled about picking up at this new CC location. For the last few pickups, the rep said, “we looked everywhere, but it’s not here”. Some other rep will suggest that they check another area...”oh, here it is!”

I haven't seen anything confirming that mine will be held at the CC. Tracking still shows it's being delivered as normal.
Ya my app shows the requested change but nothing online or on tracking. I did the request on the website.

Question for the peanut gallery. Usually I upgrade my old phone to the latest iOS release because in years past it has come out on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the new iPhone releases on Friday...this year, with the iOS 13 release today at 1pm, and my new iPhone set to arrive tomorrow, should I even bother? Does it make it easier when transferring from my XS Max to my new 11 Pro Max if they are on the same OS version?
