the beta profile for the new phones hasn't typically been available on launch day, FYI

They posted them today at the the same time that they released iOS 13. OTA only for now.
iOS 13.1 Beta 4 will be available for testers to update to and restore backups from,at the earliest iPhone 11 delivery window. If you are a tester, just quick build your new phone as new and download the profile and update. Then erase and restore your backup.

For those of you who used UPS My Choice to pick up at a UPS CC, does the Shipment Progress history show "Hold for Pickup Requested" such as this? My two apple orders don't show anything in this detail, but the one for my T-Mobile does show this:

No because your new phone will have iOS 13 so you can restore from that backup.

I would update to 13 but that's just me. The only thing I would steer clear of as of right now is 13.1 beta. That will cause problems trying to restore to a new device on 13.0.

Question - I joined the public beta and deleted my profile in hopes of going back to iOS 13.0 since that is what the 11 will ship with. However, this didn't prompt me to revert to the regular iOS releases. How can I get back to 13.0? Or am I sol

you are better off updating your new phone tomorrow to 13.1, it is way better anyways, 13 has too many bugs with email, contacts, and music.

okay, another question. Do I need to update my old phone to be able to restore on the new one w iOS 13. Like if I keep this at 12.4.1, am I going to have an issue with the new one restoring from icloud?

I deleted the profile too, and IOS 13 did not install today. I have the same question as you. I'm thinking I may have to install the public beta on the my new iPhone tomorrow, then do a restore from backup (I have health and activity data that I do not want to lose.)

that is what I am going to do. Had to do that last year too.

To keep there from being any problems, I always upgrade my old phone to the latest OS and then do my backup to iCloud and then restore the new phone from the new OS backup.
