They sure did. My husband’s phone came late last night, but mine now says exception with no delivery date. I’m just annoyed. At the very least toss me a bone and tell me when it’s going to be delivered.
Monday.

Anyone receive their green 11 pro yet and have any issues? I just got mine and there is a small discoloration spot on the back. I thought there might be a protective film on it because it looks like a bubble but it’s definitely under the surface.

Do you know anything about the monthly payments? I’m trying to figure out if I use say both incidents in a 2 month time span...so I would have no more incidents for the year....can I cancel the AppleCare after that? It seems I can but one would think they wouldn’t let you?

I think you can cancel anytime. You get 2 incidents per 24 months.

I am on the 9/27 to 10/1 group. Our phones shipped in past 24 hours and UPS said 9/26 estimate on delivery. Anyway since Apple also has information I looked on my invoice and it specifically says I paid for AppleCare plus so even if it takes a bit your information is there and will catch up. I usually get my certificate a couple days or less after phone arrives and is set up.

Oh wow. I thought it was two per year haha. So in other words since I’ll be buying the next iPhone anyways I’m better off going month to month. That way if I break it next month I get it replaced and cancel Apple care because I won’t be able to use it again for this phone

Also bought thru IUP and when I go into settings I can see my old phones AppleCare dates, says I have 54 days left to add more? Hopefully the new one kicks in soon
For my Pro

It seemed by the way he was talking that it’s a known issue for IUP phones. It’s an easy fix just a pain to have to call again.

I got my phone yesterday, and I am really happy with it. It has been fun chatting with people here. I hope if you have yours, you are happy and if you are not then you do what will make you happy. I hope those of you waiting will get yours soon and that everything goes well.

The phone is a nice minor upgrade from X. However, 13.0 is not as good as when 12.0 was release. Minor disappointed in 13.0....Hoping 13.1 resolves these issues.

I mean if you expect to break it that much. I upgrade every year and I buy AppleCare paid in full for 2 years. Haven’t had to use any incidents so I just called and got $90.77 back for the remaining year that wasn’t used.

Far from it. I actually don’t expect it to break which is why I had such a hard time with it haha. I ended up going with the monthly option. Just subscribed. Strangely enough every other time I have ever bought Apple care they ran a remote diagnostic. But not this time. Piece of mind I guess. You never know. I work for a city water department and I’m always around and fixing broken water mains that are making watery messes lol.

I really wish Apple would bring an always on display to the Pro. I feel like that’s something that Apple would do well and make look really nice.

If you buy it from the phone in settings there’s no diagnostic but if you go online it still does it.

I just called about not having AppleCare+ on my IUP Pro Max and they said they are giving it 72 hours to match up in the system and if not I have to call them so they can add it manually. So basically by Monday.

The missing Applecare for IUP folks will probably be fixed with IOS 13.1 on Tuesday is what I'm guessing...

Where did everyone go? This is the perfect forum to discuss your new phone, show off pictures, and how you had to wait in mortal agony part of the day for your phone to be delivered.

I’m still rocking with you and the others in here.

As for updates:

I still haven’t had time to snap some photos
yet. However I did record some first person style Instagram videos during laser tag at work. I also played around with the lens in the camera app, and i did. enjoy the wide lens and editing portrait mode pictures on the fly. I will say, after having it in hand, it’s not that much bigger than my X, but the X felt tiny compared to the Xr, go figure. Battery life is incredible, my X was losing charge ever so quickly. FaceID is noticeably faster.

I picked up the Apple Clear case for my 11 Pro Max. The Pine Green Silicone is too light. If it were true Midnight Green like the phone itself, that would be perfect. I may exchange the Pine Green for a leather case or may just return.
