I just bought online, and it will be available for pick up in 2 hours at the Apple Store!
Yeah, there’s no obvious marks on the plastic. Definitely something in manufacturing. The box was undamaged.
The football shaped mark almost looks like it’s under the glass, and there’s a deep scratch dead centre on it. It’s almost like a pressure caused a separation around the scratch? You can feel the scratch very clearly with a nail but that mark around it, you can’t feel at all.
That’s weird. Wonder if it was damaged during packaging and just not seen. I guess that would be very possible being that the phone is face down
Here’s the pics I took for Apple (support requested I take pics in case the investigation wanted them) - on an angle you can see the number of scratches - there’s surface as well as deep grooves, but only in the top right quadrant. There are no marks on the bezels, the steel, or the back so it wasn’t dropped or impacted, and the plastic (while now covered in cat hair because I have two kittens and that plastic sucks it all in ) didn’t have any marks on it either.

Reviews for this case from last season said the buttons were really stiff. Has this season improved?

Other than the fact that you can feel some of them it almost looks like something happened under the display
Exactly. That football shaped one especially looks like it’s under.
There’s another one that shows up along the edge at the curve of the glass that also appears under - you can see it in the last picture (it almost looks like a reflection but it’s a ‘scuff’).
I just want my phone. It’s so mean that I am sitting here staring at the box and I can’t use it.
Mine keeps switching between 9/21 and 9/23 delivery, but says out for delivery today. Driver was nearby earlier but now way further away than I ever saw him yesterday.
Closest one with stock is a 4 hour train ride.
Closest one any other time is a two hour drive, but no stock.
It’s Saturday he is going to have a different route than a week day and larger area most likely. Also no businesses to deliver to

Didn’t know that either. I just setup as new I wanted to get rid of all the apps I had in random folders that I never use.

This forum and iPhone launch day are just like any other holiday. We are all excited for a week before the day comes and goes and by the next day it's forgotten until next year.
Try to add if from settings. If it is already added it will say your device isn’t eligible
Why isn’t this the thread for this? It was the pre order and delivery thread. He’s not here looking for help at this point we are all just sharing our phones.
I might be biased, but I have seen all of them and silver looks the best, IMHO.

first time getting the silver color (usually went Space Grey) and I absolutely love it!!
