Is this means I successfully preordered? Will I receive another confirmation email?(I only receive one says (
We're processing your order Wxxxxxxxxx)My pickup order status is still “Order Placed” When will it start to change to “Processing”? Will they cancel my order during this period?

All is well!!! Your order is successfully placed.

what's the catch on the T-Mobile half off deal? 2 year agreement or something?
2 year equipment contract.
0% interest so why not ?
And I got $350 monthly bill credits against the new phone so paying $15 / month....
No one would give me $350 for my old iPhone 7.

For me, another 2 years with T mobile is a no brainer after 5 years with them.
I love them for International travel - works just about everywhere on the globe without having to change SIMs....

I cancelled my AT&T Next Up order (30 Month Installment +$5/mo fee) due to the cloudiness of trading in at 12 months next year. Apple is still offering the AT&T Next Every Year Plan for 24 installments. I just place a new order with Apple.com for Pick Up in store on Sept 20 with AT&T Next Every Year.

This is what is posted in the FAQs on AT&T.com on the new Next Up Plan webpage.

The AT&T Next® and AT&T Next Every Year® Plans are being discontinued and are available only from select non-AT&T dealers for only a limited time.

You can trade in and upgrade your smartphone pursuant to the existing AT&T Next® and AT&T Next Every Year® trade-in terms. When you trade in your smartphone, you will have a choice between the AT&T Installment Plan and the AT&T Installment Plan with Next Up unless the AT&T Next® or AT&T Next Every Plan® is offered by a non-AT&T dealer.

Ordered My Midnight Green Iphone Pro..But I ordered the Max clear case, hopefully I can swap it out at the store. Went back to try an order the pro case, and it was already on 2-3 week backorder..Ordered for in store pick up..SUPER EASY...almost too easy

Lol what?

Ships in 5-7 business days, but will show up 10-12 business days...

I'm not complaining, just found it funny.

You can still do 24 months with some of AT&T's partners, but AT&T direct channels (Corporate stores, online, telesales) are only 30 months, or 30 months w/ 15 month upgrade.

AT&T site was up and running by 7:59am. But I really wanted to order on the Apple app. Ugh

Anyone else on Next Every Year program notice that it’s $52 a month when you purchase on Apple vs $46 when purchased on AT&T. ??!!!?

Are you sure that you didn't misread it as the 30 month ATT Next?

I just checked and I have an initial transaction on my Apple Card for 54.08, which is my monthly IUP payment. Nothing yet on the other order but thats not IUP.

Overslept by 40 minutes and everything on the 11 Pro was backed up by 1-3 weeks for shipping, looks like I’ll have to go to the store to pick it up. Hopefully traffic isn’t too terrible

It's no different, its a 0% loan. Paying up front with 0% interest doesnt make much financial sense when you can leverage that money elsewhere. Anyone who invests would tell you the same.

For me, I get 5% cash back for utilities on my business credit card with my ATT bill is; Apple is not. So since the phone payment is part of my bill I get 5% off each payment which adds up. About $27-28 off the phone cost of $550 if upgrading yearly (half the $1099). So it's a good chunk of change doing it that way for me versus paying up front.

Plus I dont want to risk reselling it privately later. Too many horror stories of scams out here, even on something reputable like Swappa since they still use Paypal.

I agree paying no interest is a good thing rather than having the bucks around and paid all at once. I can budget monthly payment and have money for other things from my saved funds.

Don't have any cash back cards. I didn't qualify for Apple Card, and not wanting more....Since my Apple Pay is via debit card maybe that was problem, but looking on web site it has the card I used and one that the preapproval process used. Not sure what problem was this morning a mystery anyway back on the original date I got September 27-October 1.

Ordered Pro Max 256GB Silver at 7:05 CST.
27 Sep - 1 Oct

Same phone in mid-night green ordered at 7:02 CST.
20 Sep

Placed the green order first thinking it would go the fastest. Hopefully Apple over delivers and it ships the silver sooner.
Hoping so, too. I’m in the same boat. I checked AT&T’s site and they’re still quoting a 9/20 delivery but also state immediately below that that delivery dates are not guaranteed. I was itching for a split-second to cancel with Apple and switch to AT&T, but I tried that years ago with the gold 5 or 5S, maybe, and it ended up being a sh*tshow of epic proportions with my upgrade eligibility disappearing and reappearing and delivery dates slipping. I think I finally ended up having to wake up nightly to check the inventory crawlers and then drove about 3 hours away to find one in-store in October sometime. Arrrgggggh. I’d have thought for sure that the green would be the quickest one to go, not run of the mill silver!

I know a bunch of people had issues at 5am with the store still saying it was down on the app. I ended up getting the same and then just used Siri and said “preorder my phone” and it immediately took me into a working store and my preapproval.

Ineligible for pickup but got delivery launch day

One of my IUP phones wouldn't let me pick up in store. Frustrating thing is that the first IUP phone I ordered allowed for pickup. So now I'm going to the store to pick up one and then waiting at the office for the mail to arrive lol. Not complaining cuz it could definitely be worse. Just odd. ‍♂️

Yes, but ordering through AT&T is actually a much poorer deal than ordering through Apple and using AT&T financing.

When buying on AT&T’s website you are forced into their “revised” installment program. 30 Month installment agreement plus the $5/mo Next Up charge. That’s why the payments appear lower — however the installment contract is 6 months longer than if you do it through Apple! And you cannot upgrade until 15 payments (and pay the $5/mo fee).

AT&T has agreed (for now) that orders through Apple for a limited time can still finance on the (now discontinued) AT&T Next Every Year plan. So 24 month zero interest financing with no $5/mo fee and you can still upgrade after 12 months with a trade in.

It literally makes zero sense to finance directly through AT&T vs. finance through AT&T on the Apple site. I’m surprised more people and websites are not reporting on this.

Selecting ATT pushed my order back three weeks so I went without ATT and it went back to the 20th. Paid full upfront.

That was quick and painless. I did the preapproval for the gold, but logged in at 5am and switch to the pro max 256 midnight green and 2 button press later.. order placed for 9/20 delivery.

I have my confirm and pick up time. Currently on the apple store site it is showing order on hold. I assume that's just until its filled

View attachment 857962 Ok payment information through back to September 27 to October 1. Two years ago it was end of October because it took 20 minutes me to get to my preorder preapproval. Better today at 8 minutes so at least got same time after payment went through. Not sure why it didn’t have it from preapproval on Tuesday oh well that’s life. Depressed I cannot join opening day fun. Yes I know it’s a first world problem but I will live LOL. Probably not going to be on as much then since I’m not gonna be in first batch of shipping

I got screwed too..Same phone as yours. Seems like the green ones get shipped first. Guess it's better than going to the store on opening day and fighting the crowds.
