What is that noise that I hear in here? Is it crickets? Where did the endless stream of “should I be worried” posts go? How about the few posts demanding compensation for impatience and need for immediate gratification. How about the people pulling all nighters hitting refresh on tracking status and flight trackers? Where are all of the posts speaking about how they love their new phone with new camera photos? Crickets I tell ya... crickets!
Mine went from China to Louisville I n my tracking scan didn’t show in anchorage at all probably because some they charter flight that fly direst to a UPS hub
You just have to hope you make it to the store on time to get one.

I wish mine would make it to Louisville! 😂 I live in Kentucky so it wouldn't take me long to get mine, but as of right now I'm still at 10/4-10/11 😩

Make a morning appointment. The two times I've done reservations for a night pickup I was there over two hours on launch day. I do pickup at UPS CC now.

Yes, several of us on the Apple order 9/27-10/1 delivery thread have surmised it is the UPS 59 or 63 flights in list below. Since we have now sat for nearly 4 hours since arrival. those flights leave in 8 and 9 hours from now as I am writing this.

How/Where did you find that lust of flights?
I’m in the same window. Mine has shipped but now it’s stuck in China and hasn’t moved. It’s not showing a delivery date anymore.
Just ordered a 64gb midnight green from the Apple store. I was checking every hour or so and there’s was one in stock so I got it. Cancelled my online order, now i don’t know how to go about the return kit I’m supposed to get. Do I just discard it? Will they be expecting a return even though I will return my 8 plus at the store.
Unless I misunderstand you, you still have to preorder online for a store pickup on launch day, unless you mean that you just want to show up at the Apple Store and hope that they have stock for walk in customers (which I would find more stressful than waiting for UPS).
IF you want to secure the model you want, then yes pre-order online for store pick up would be ideal. But if you did not manage to secure on, then likely best chance is get up very early Friday morning and stand in line and hope that you are first in the walk-in line and secure it that way.
When I pre-ordered the 11 Pro Max SG 256 GB Verizon, right after I checked out for in-store pick up, the ship date had slipped out and pick up in store was no longer available so I got real lucky there.
