You still do get 3% daily cash even if you entered the number manually as it's till being purchased from Apple Store.

I’m also in the 10/1 - 10/4 window. My order changed to "preparing to ship" last night, and this morning it changed to "shipped" saying I'm supposed to get it 10/2... Hopefully, it'll be here before then. On the UPS end, there is not much information yet.
Space Gray Pro Max 64gb. Got a tracking number now and it’s saying it will be delivered on 10/2. Hopefully they push yours up sooner! My leather case is impatiently waiting haha

This is the same thing I discovered Saturday when hunting since I got the dumb Delayed email for my launch day pickup. Mostly 256 512, and most of them SIM Free.
Picked my phone up last night. It ended up being delivered twice. The first time the package locker was empty. I spent a couple hours making room on my laptop to update the OS so I could run an iTunes backup to restore to the new phone. Didn't realize all you do is set them next to each other and it moves everything on its own when you start up the new phone. Part of me is thinking I should have gotten the max since the reduced width is noticeable, especially when you go into landscape mode and the screen is shorter. I think I'll get used to it though. I think they really need to go notchless moving forward though...
This may be a general issue. I have two kits for two phones. One was swapped, one was not. Neither has an SN.
Can you match the tracking number for the trade in kit with the new phone order.
mine is 14-21 Oct. I hope it changes soon!
UPDATE: Just found the phone in the store. Placed an order for the pickup!

Apple care question. So apparently I’m in the IUP now. I owned my X so I did the whole “preapproval” thing so my order would go through fast. Now I have a loan, ok, and I added Apple care+ But I saw a comment here somewhere that Apple care is included when you are on IUP. Can someone straighten this out for me? Did I have to buy it, is it included or what. I’m confused and calling Apple right now would probably be a bit unconvincing since they are so rattled LOL
How does one do that? Ref number is the same on both (my phone number). Both are on my account....
There is the Web order number, but I've already removed the two top pages. Didn't expect to need them and then was about to pack phones up and saw the boxes were the same except for RMA numbers and the like. Arg....
My kids phone, original date was Sept 27th - Oct4. Shipped, received a Sep 26th date, then it's hung up all weekend in customs in China, and only today stuck in Hong Kong. Apple says Monday Sep 30th. I'm HOPING this improves back to this week.
Like when you look at your order online each phone should have the trade in kit under it with a tracking link. Can you match the tracking number on the box to the order online?
No tracking for return kits, and that would only have the top label, in any case, which I've removed from each one. On phone with Apple, who first tells me it doesn't matter which one I use. Waiting for senior person to confirm.....
Edit: The web order number is on the final address label, also. You can match that up with your Apple order list and see which one is which. I gave up waiting and will use that to match the right phone to the right box. Yay!

I'll be going from the 8+ to the 11 pro max ( when I get it) so it will be a change for me as well but I'm excited
It is included in the loan price. They have two options now though. AppleCare and AppleCare theft and loss, which is more expensive.
No, I was able to get the 3%, the Apple Store finally figured it out on how to get the card to work but but Apple Card support was no help at all. No one could figure out why the card would not work but fortunately they were able to manually type in the account number.
Lucky! I have the same dates 14-21 oct. there’s been zero stores with stock here in Phoenix AZ. I’ve been checking and going to stores since Saturday.
Regular Applecare is included. For ~$4 more a month you get theft and loss protection. Worth it to me.
I’m assuming if you buy say 2 phones on the same account and trade 2 phones in then when the phones arrive they will see both on the account and it won’t matter.
