I think you can pre sign but no you can change the address other than going to like a neighbor. You can also hold for pickup at UPS.
Okay cool. I may have it held at the UPS facility.

Yeah, they're almost certainly in China. The only "ship" once the device is in the US.The launch day ones are not in the US. All of us watched our launch day phones fly from China last year they come over a day or so before
That’s what I do because I can get it that morning. They don’t deliver in my area until mid afternoon so I get it first thing. But this year I work on release day so won’t be able to go get it until after.Okay cool. I may have it held at the UPS facility.
My order for a 256 GB Max Midnight Green on T-Mobile originally showed 9/23 delivery. It has moved to 9/20, but not at preparing to ship yet.
I heard many variations on how to do this. Here's what I successfully did once...I thought you are able to pre-sign for delivery? Or if not, can you have it re-routed to another address??
I changed mine to what I'm used to with Alexa...Note you can change the wording, for example, I added the word “my” in the given phrase to make more personal.
Interesting, I've got exactly the same thing. Mine was also showing Sept 23, now just says Arrives too. 256 Pro Max SG 256 AT&T.My order (64GB, Midnight Green, TMobile) status, which had been saying delivery by Sept 23 (even though I ordered at 5:01am), now simply states: "Arrives " with NO date. Hmmm. I hope it will change to the 20th

I don't think that's the case. It seems phone purchased from Apple always ship directly from China. I know when I've bought from AT&T, those phones were already in the US.Not strange at all. The launch day deliver ones are already here in the US. They will leave a hub (UPS or FedEx) the day before delivery and be delivered on launch day.
The other ones are being shipped from the manufactured location and have to arrive in the US, so they need extra travel time.

Why dont you go to apple.com and click on the shopping bag icon, top far right, click on your orders and then sign in with your iCloud account. At least then you’ll see the order and will be reassured.I haven't received my email order confirmation for my midnight green 11 pro 256GB. I ordered at 5am Pacific, got Sept 20th delivery. I have an order number from a PDF I saved of the order confirmation from apple.com, and my credit card has been charged. I was asked to sign in to my iCloud account before I purchased, but I don't think that should have made any difference. Has anyone else experienced this? Overall I guess I'm not too concerned because my card was charged. Hmmm...
I consider myself extremely fortunate. I live 10 minutes away from the nearest Apple Store. Picking up there is the best bet for me.
NoWhat about the ones that are being picked up at the store? Is there anyway to track those. Are they already here?
The stores open before UPS starts deliveringOk I’ll bite how is that better than getting it delivered to your door in you jammies??
I have to go to work. I can pick up the phone between 8-8:30 and then just go to work. Best all-around deal.Ok I’ll bite how is that better than getting it delivered to your door in you jammies??
It is very clear. I don’t think it will yellow over time,is it very clear or do you think it's going to turn yellow overtime?
Depends on where you ask them to hold it. Hubs can have it ready on release day. UPS Stores may be delayed in getting it.If I have ups hold my shipment , would I be able to pick it up Friday morning?

Sweet! I’ll have them hold it at the hub! I want the phone before I go into workDepends on where you ask them to hold it. Hubs can have it ready on release day. UPS Stores may be delayed in getting it.
If you hold at the closest UPS Customer Center on your list of alternate options, yes, it will be there in the morning for you to pick it up, as it’s where the phone would be Thursday night to be placed on your local truck the next day. The only caveat is that Customer Centers sometimes have weird hours. If you redirect to a normal UPS store, it may end up being delayed a day (I haven’t seen this happen, but YMMV)If I have ups hold my shipment , would I be able to pick it up Friday morning?

You want UPS to hold it at the Customer Center where your iPhone would come to before being put on a truck for delivery. Telling them to hold it at some arbitrary UPS store will add a day or more of delay. If I have ups hold my shipment , would I be able to pick it up Friday morning?
Canceled and order the midnight green that I talked hella crap about since the deliver date went back to sept 20.
I just checked UPS and have a scheduled delivery on the 20th from Apple! It is currently in China, it weighs 0.60 KGS so I’m not sure if it’s my watch or phone. But hey at least there is movement!
I have the same .6KG package from Apple in China and being reported by UPS. It is my watch not my iPhone.I just checked UPS and have a scheduled delivery on the 20th from Apple!
