I used to do that too but I suck at installing and the air bubbles bother the hell out of me, I end up using more than one trying to get it perfect. I’d rather pay someone to install it and if they screw up, which they rarely do because they do so many, it’s on them.
The ones I’ve been buying for X come with an alignment tool. You put the plastic jig on the phone and drop the screen protector on and it lines it up perfect every time. The one I ordered for the 11 pro also comes with an alignment install tool.
This. The spigen also comes with a plastic jig with the screen protector already in place inside of the jig. Simply clean your screen, use the dust removal sticker, remove the film on the plastic jig and place over the phone. Install takes about 30 seconds and it’s flawless every time. Zero bubbles.

Question for those in the know.
I’m currently in the iPhone upgrade program. Ordered the 11 pro max and had to pay my loan early to upgrade in the amount of $174 as I got my max last year in November. My Loan payment charges on the 17th. How does that work so I don’t overpay my current device?

Saw in fine print somewhere that once new ships no more payments are to be made on current loan.

Once you have the new iPhone ship, they temporarily withhold the payment of your current payment. You must send your current device back and once Apple receives it, they will close out your old loan. I you don't send it back and you decide to keep it, after 14 days, then they will continue to charge your old loan.

I ordered the same config except in black. At about 6 minutes after since the app wasn’t ready. Initially, ship date on 9/20 slipped to 10/1-4 during the process. And I pre preordered through the app.
Same. 5 or 6 min when the app finally let me do it. i was pre approved for green 256 gb. confirmation says Oct 1-4.

I normally wake up at about 5, but today I was unwell and it looks like release day will be unavailable, so I'll hold out to place the order some other time.

Sounds good. Just don’t want to pay more than 12 payments on my old phone.

Set my alarm for 4:55am PST today. I was able to get the store to load at about 5:03am.

I ordered the unlocked iPhone 11 Pro Max in midnight green, 256gb. Was able to get a 9/20 delivery date!

Currently in "Processing" status.

Well, my watch is in Anchorage :)

Yeah. I saw your phone's plane coming in.

You don’t have to take the whole day off of work to wait for delivery. You don’t have to watch the door all day waiting for the delivery truck and risk not getting to the door in the 2 second interval when the driver knocks and sprints back to his truck with your device. Even if you leave a signed authorization on your door, it’s at the driver’s discretion whether to leave the package. Also, they’ve been known to mark you as “delivery attempted” when they didn’t even stop, and they take the box back to the hub for redelivery on Monday. With an early pick up at the Apple Store, you have all day to play with it rather than getting it late in the day.

I'm terrible about mornings. Ever since they stopped making us pick up our IUP phones from the Apple Store I've been redirecting my shipment to the UPS center and pick it up after work. Not as good as an early Apple Store pickup but still so much better than being at the whim of one driver.

I was way late to the party this year. Spent the day contemplating and then finally decided to order a 64gb Space Gray iPhone 11 Pro Max at 3pm PST. Shipping Oct 4 - Oct 11. Anyone else in the same boat?

On a side note, finally jumped on the IUP bandwagon this year. Sick of T-Mobile’s up front cost every time I want to upgrade.

definitely. Way better

I don’t know why Apple let people wait a whole week for a phone. Every year they should be familiar with this and start selling them the same day as launch

Anyone in this thread who had a stats of "Arrives Sep 27 - Oct 1" change to the 20th by any chance ? I still can't believe that at 5:03 am I got stuck in this range!
I ordered an 11 Pro Max 256 GB midnight green (IUP, pre-approved and everything) and I'm in this boat too. Before I clicked "buy" it said Sept 20 but on the order confirmation screen it got bumped to Sep 27 - Oct 1.

my clear case has those dates and it went to preparing to ship.

my 512 green pro max is preparing to ship as well as my pine green sport watch band which are both due the 20th.
