I work for a telecom provider so I ship it to work and get to play with it amongst giving all my customers their pre orders

Normally ordered through T-Mobile, went through apple this time around.
I remember the T-Mobile thread being a lot more hectic than this tread.

I ordered an 11 Pro Max 256 GB midnight green (IUP, pre-approved and everything) and I'm in this boat too. Before I clicked "buy" it said Sept 20 but on the order confirmation screen it got bumped to Sep 27 - Oct 1.

Same Exact boat!!!

Same exact phone (ATT), with IUP, did the whole pre-approval thing. I am on the west coast, up at 4:50 am, start trying the app, black splash screen up until about 5:03ish, get it, few clicks, shows sep 20th date, I finally get to a screen where I need to confirm credit card which is so stupid (use to be able Apple Pay) nonetheless I was done within seconds, by the time I was out, no joke still 5:03AM, with later ship date.

FWIW, mine moved to preparing. Black 64gb Pro ATT.

-Last year mine said processing until the day before launch. Then moved through all the stages in an hour lol.
I too have seen this happen. Apple will say processing or preparing to ship until the day before launch. But if you have a my ups account, you will see a package move from China to the US during the week. For some strange reason I have seen the shipper as Ingram Micro or something like that on the ups app and the day before will change to AI.

My wife’s iPhone 11 is
Preparing to ship, mine is still
Processing. As I recall in years past they process things by pallet. So even though my order went through before hers it simply means they are processing a pallet of what she ordered (purple, 128gb, Vz 11)

Anyone in this thread who had a stats of "Arrives Sep 27 - Oct 1" change to the 20th by any chance ? I still can't believe that at 5:03 am I got stuck in this range!
Yep. Le sigh.

Ordered at 10:57am PST. I thought delivery would be much later since I was ordering this late, but I can wait. Still, I got a 9/20 delivery date. Either demand isn't as high, or the supply is sufficient. Either way, yay for me. :D

It's 12:25am PST, and I checked the order status. It's now "Preparing to Ship." Don't know when it changed, but it's moving along.

It would be nice if Apple threw us a bone and shipped them out before launch day. That's one thing I like about a few other OEMs, they ship their phones days before launch.
