so, i used the app and my order was completed by 8:02-ish EST. the page said 9/20 delivery but when i hit submit, the next page had estimated 9/27-10/1.

Mine says the same “processing.” The cancel button is still available. From what I remember from previous orders, once the cancel button is disabled that’s when the item has been assigned to me.

UPS handles all the shipping to the US now. There may be certain cases where FedEx does deliver to certain areas but I don’t know where the phone would ship from since UPS handles all shipping out of China.

I appreciate your post. I just looked at my 4 orders (for my kids) and I did that for one too. I wondered whey the questions they asked were slightly different - I thought it was because that one is a new IUP number and includes a trade in.

I contacted sales support and they said that after sales support can fix or (or cancel the order and start over).

EDIT:
I see the problem. When you trade in, you’d can’t do IUP - it would mess up the math. So when I get the phone, I’ll attempt to change it so I’m doing the trade in separately (getting a Apple credit) but do a regular IUP on that phone.

I’m in the same boat. Hope they can fix it. I don’t really want to spend $400 on Apple products and will raise my monthly payment but I guess there is no other choice.

Your phone isn’t reserved until after the order is completely submitted. It isn’t like Ticketmaster where tickets are reserved as you go through the checkout process. So during the time it took you to finish checkout the shipping time frame advanced by a week.
