That often happens. Since you did not use the full order number you might get 1 or more matches. The best match will come from using your 10 digit phone number (all numeric, no + or parenthesizes) In this case it is not your order. Just keep checking.

I got a tracking number too in the ups app. This week is going to drag lol.
Has anyone tried to track by reference number and bothered to change the dates and get an error message that states a valid date has to be entered? I changed the date range to go until 9/20 (supposedly delivery day) and I get an error that I need to fix that. Its almost as if I change anything in that track by reference form I get an error message. I also have a random tracking number in my my choice app that has no information and when I click on it it, information unavailable check back, later it says, maybe that's it? Phone number and order number do nothing for me, taxes still pending, 9/20 delivery day, preparing to ship on apples website.
That's interesting. I guess it depends on a lot of factors. I have bought every iPhone and it is always the same...doesn't show until it ships. I have also used different credit cards. I wish someone more knowledgable could explain the differences for us.
It's quite possible with millions of pre-orders and with the systems bogged down, it's quite possible that there is already a tracking but just not in the system yet.
Last night, nothing showed up on my UPS and when I woke up at 7 AM central then it showed up like this:
Looks like my Label was created after the Origin Scan.
Edit to add: I have 3 orders that are on preparing to ship, and this is just 1 of the 3 that shows up. But that also makes sense because 1 of the 3, the status went from precessing to preparing to shipment not till 3 pm my time, while the other 2 changed status till like sometime during the midnight. So I do expect that other 2 will show up on My Choice UPS later today hopefully.

I have 2 iPhone that I pre-ordered on Friday at 7:00 am, Apple Order Status show that it's preparing for shipment and shows up on my Apple Card but still Pending. Likely won't go through till it's actually shipped. This was taken just now.
Well, call me wrong. I just checked my AppleCard and it is showing pending for my iPhone as well.

What are you putting for the reference number specifically to get this?
Yeah I had to do it on my computer. If you google My Choice UPS for Business, it should be the first link. Click sign up and enter your business account log in. When it asks if you want to track outgoing and/or incoming, I had to just select incoming. If i selected outgoing too, it would make me go through setting that up and always gave me an error.
But you may be correct to because right now it's just pending /pre-auth. I still haven't got my 3% daily cash from it meaning those aren't actual charges just yet.
Yeah, I finally figured out that it won't go past today's date as that's in the future. So just leave the To date to today's date.

I have that. It still shows that, but when I log on to UPS My Choice, I see the delivery scheduled for this Friday.
