Question since this is my first time selecting store pickup. Do you still see it pop up via UPS track by reference when you’re gonna pick it up at the store and not being shipped directly to you?
No your iPhone is part of a bulk shipment. So no UPS updates for you. Your next update should be Thursday night when you get an email from Apple.

Oh yeah!! Woke up and checked ups, used my phone number as a reference, and I have a tracking # and movement!!
What did you order and what time?

Says the guy posting in a thread where everyone is over obsessed about tracking their orders.
Get outta here dude. We are here to have fun not cry about our order not showing up on day one

I woke up at 8am PST to place my order for an 11 Pro(not MAX) thinking I'd have no problem getting one on launch day only to find out my order is scheduled for Oct 4-Oct 11 estimate. Anyone think it'll get pushed down to launch? I'd have better luck getting one in store honestly.

I want to get rid of my MAX because I can't stand the larger size and have audio/speaker issues which would be covered under warranty but I don't want to go thru the hassle of getting a new phone only to get another one shortly after.

With that far off of a delivery date.... i seriously doubt you'll get launch day. However I do think you'll get it sooner than the 4th....

I used Apple Card paid the full amount don't want citizen bank this way I can pay as much as I want every time citizen bank you have to call if you want to pay more or pay off they gave me hard time when I wanted to pay of the balance of my last iPhone

But you’re getting hit with interest every month on the Apple card on your unpaid balance, aren’t you?

Citizen will charge my Apple Card the monthly fee and I can pay that each month. No interest and I believe 3% Apple Cash but could be 2%.

11 Pro, Green, 512 with apple iUP and I put the order in as soon as it let me on the Apple store app (I’d say 8:01-8:02).

Anyone else in the same situation would be frustrated as well. You’ll all be here complaining when your phone misses a UPS flight, UPS doesn’t deliver on time, the phone doesn’t get out of customs with everyone else’s, etc.

I’ve been through this many times so don’t make it out like I’m some sort of outlier.

I got my X 2 days early from tmobile 2 years ago.

I was charged taxes but no tracking yet

I remember a few years ago mine was scheduled for delivery a day before launch but FedEx held it until launch day so it sat at the local distribution center for 2 days with instructions to not deliver until a certain date.

What configuration did you order? You’re in the same boat with me. I’ve seen my orders move up in the past but not that much. I’ve also never had one slip this far so fast. And I’ve been ordering iPhones since the 3G.

Any chance the phones could deliver earlier than the 20th?

nope

It has happened but UPS and the carriers are on strict orders to not release until launch day.

I don't remember it happening with direct from apple orders in the past couple of years. you get a hit or miss on carrier ordered phones but those seem to be employees that break the rule and get the phone for themselves or their buddy....

This is my first time ever doing in store pickup. I’m missing a little bit the anxiety about tracking and movements. Yes, I think I need help.

Woke up this morning, checked my UPS App and shows that I now have a package coming from Apple. So looks like 1 of the 3 is showing. Weight says .60 KGS, so looks like that's how much the iPhone Pro Max would weigh. And no, I did not order the Apple Watch.

Hey just wanted to put it out there for those who might run into it and to those who helped me. It turns out Citi is having issues this morning. When I tried calling to make sure everything was fine with my card, they “couldn’t access records at this time.” When contacting Apple, they said my payment couldn’t go through, but when trying the same card again, it went through. So if you used a Citi card for your preorder and get an “action required” email, just call Apple and have them rerun it. I hope not too many others have been affected. Thanks to all who responded to my posts :)
