The pricing premium for iPhone has saturated. It’s a common consensus, especially outside of the United States that HUAWEI makes the best phones, including the camera. Samsung is in the same league, and has the best AI virtual assistant in the world for hardware manufacturers. Apple has the best UX design and the best consumer-grade mobile OS for the mass. Excluding the in-house-designed SoC modules like A12 X Bionic, everything else in an i-device are behind HUAWEI and Samsung by a few years.
Apple has reduced the price of some iPhone models in Japan, Korea and Greater China 3 to 4 times consecutively, in addition to the standard global XR trade-in bonus concession. Price won’t go up because Apple can’t even hold it as is, and it’s going down fast.
Apple released a revenue shortfall warning this year to investors and stock holders. This is the first revenue warning since the return of Steve Jobs to Apple. (Yes, that’s before the first iMac, the first MacBook, and the first i-anything)
