Pro will likely refer to the price which I'm becoming increasingly certain they will raise. :-(
Plus -> Max -> Pro
Jesus, why~?
Lol—if it's more than just a name change, $1,650.00 is more likely.i'm guessing $5,000.00 for the base model
You pay based on the value that it brings you. For many, if not most, users their smartphone is their only and / or most used "computer".Yeah. They're starting to equal the price of desktop computers with some of these. And Samsung increased the price on their new phone.

I was passing since my IPhone 6S. I’ve tried IPhone XS. It gives me a headache. If they won’t solve the PWM issues on OLED displays. I’ll continue using LCD iPhone till they die completely.Think I'll pass this year!!
Glad you allow customers to spend their money as they see fit.Struggling to see how the iPhone XS is 30% more valuable than the iPhone 7 was when it launched honestly but whatever stories people want to tell themselves is good with me..
People raised a huge stink over the notch as well. This could well be another one of those things which seems more problematic in theory, but few actually have any issues with it in real life.
Where are you getting $60+ a month from? There’s no way I lose anywhere near $720 a year when I resell a device.
Quick check on swappa shows $927 as average selling price on 256 gb max.I paid £1249 for the 256GB XS Max but I would not get anywhere near that price when selling it on.
Quick check I’d get £571-£700 tops. So I’d be losing around £600 ($723 at current exchange rates) on the device after less than 12 months of use and battery health percentage at 99%. You would also have to sell the device before the launch of the new iPhone to get those prices too. Selling it after the announcement will see the price drop even further.
Back when iPhones were reasonably priced then yes the sell on value would be good compared to what you paid for it. However since Apple jacked up the prices the sell on values compared to what you paid is nowhere near as good. It’s nearly an immediate 50% depreciation because nobody in the Second hand market would paid £1000+ on a phone.

$927 is US. According to swappa lost 25% in depreciation.Is that in the US or UK? Either way it would still be around £500 depreciation on a device less than 12 months old.
With the new stainless steel band you can’t even sell it as mint condition because it incurs micro scratches just from rubbing your finger on it.
According to this, it's going to be:
XR -> iPhone 11
XS -> iPhone 11 Pro
Max -> iPhone 11 Pro Max
Which is a bit of a hideous naming scheme lol![]()
Guess because XR has a feeling that it is low end and iPhone XS is just standard.iPhone 11 Pro (in 2 sizes, no Max/Plus)
iPhone 11 will replace XR.
Not where I live. I’d lose about 30%. Perhaps there’s a different mentality in the UK? I went to Craigslist for London and it’s a wasteland for used iPhones. Here in Vancouver (a city a fraction of the population of London) and there are hundreds of iPhones for sale. Or maybe nobody in London uses Craigslist and there’s another preferred method for buying/selling used?

The notch is one of those things that's right on the threshold, like a pebble in your shoe. Annoying but not enough to be a dealbreaker.People raised a huge stink over the notch as well. "I have an iPhone 8 and it’s the perfect size and weight. I don’t want anything heavier or larger." => Agreed.They should just name them:
iPhone $
iPhone $$
iPhone $$$
Easy.
So tired of the crazy expensive phones. I have an iPhone 8 and it’s the perfect size and weight. I don’t want anything heavier or larger. Guess I’ll be using it for a while.
They won’t raise the price...Apple marketing at its finest. Slap on Pro, raise price.
The only Pro thing my MBP did good at was logic board failing

I would much rather have bezels with no notch, no curved edge, and USB-C like the iPad Pro.
