Given the 5.4” model is slightly smaller than the iPhone SE 2 and features an all screen design, I’m concerned that battery life will be even worse than the SE 2, which isn’t very strong.

I'm a bit worried about this as well since my 11 Pro easily lasts me the entire day, while my SE2 needs a charge to give it juice to make it through the day.

I got the iPhone SE 2 (2020) (2nd Generation), but I got it knowing that I was always going to get the iPhone 12 5.4”. This makes me want it even more now.

Curious why you didn't just wait for the 5.4" model this fall?

I know it was mentioned in another article but I'm buggered if I can find it now - what is the pixel density meant to be on these new phones?

Check out his latest YouTube video around the 3:35 mark when he compares the 5.4” size to the original iPhone SE. Wow, this is going to be awesome.

It really looks nearly identical in size to the current SE.

It appears really in between the original SE and the new SE. If you watch the original video in the first post, it is every so slightly shorter than the SE2 but it is thinner and not as wide as the SE2.

Yeah honestly I don't agree. If you watch his original short video on his Twitter he claims it's smaller but side by side but they look almost identical IMO. I really think the 5.4" iPhone will be nearly identical in size to the current SE. If it is more narrow or shorter it will be barley versus between the size of OG SE and current SE.

I think if they square off the sides like they are talking about doing, that will automatically make it a little narrower and shorter, but I do think it’ll be closer to the SE2 size, which is honestly gonna be pretty perfect for a lot of people with a full screen.

Look at the 14 second mark on the first video. It's definitely narrower than the SE2. Not tremendously narrower, of course, but narrower, nonetheless.

And here's how it compares to the original SE. To me, the width and height of the 5.4" iPhone 12 looks to be right in between the size of the SE and SE2.

Man that is gonna be a hot seller for sure!

I love the size but battery life on this is gonna be s**t, right? 😅

Guess you can't have it all.

martin2345uk : Yes, It is just my opinion - 11 pro is thicker and have "advanced OLED with 15% less power consuption". I think that 5,4" will not have that oled and would be slightly thinner (and newer power effeciency CPU will not do more difference). In best scenario battery life between XS and 11 Pro 😊 Apple first release a "new model" and then they add better battery to it.

Ah I see what you are saying :)

I do hope it will be better than the XS, might be a slight dealbreaker as having gotten used to no "battery anxiety" with my XR I don't really wanna have to go back to "where's that charger?!" :p

The 5.4” model will have an OLED display.

I think he is saying he doesn't think the 5.4" will have the "advanced OLED with 15% less power consumption" that the 11 Pro apparently has but the XS apparently does not have....
Ah, so, some type of inferior/less expensive OLED panel without the power consumption advances.
