The 12 Pro Max will replace my 11 Pro Max and the 12 mini will replace my SE 2020.Can’t wait!

Hell... it took 3 years after he died to finally get two sizes of iPhones...
The iPhone is a mature product/platform... I don't see a problem with expansion. Consumers want choice.
Then imo they messed up, because the plus model had the same PPI screen, and the only discernible feature difference I think was image stabilization. However max comes across in my head as being more aligned with maximum features, similar to how the word ultra is used.

Nope, the 7 Plus had 2 camera lenses on the back whereas the 7 only had 1.
However, if you compare e. g. XS Max to XS, they are pretty much identical (apart from the size difference).

you like small things and bought an iPhone 11, find the mistake. - its a huge fat piece of junk and YOU bought it although there were smaller and lighter alternatives
But rumours saying phones start from 749 not 650....749 for a 5.4 phone is too high imo.

Is this really surprising? They already have mac mini and ipad mini for years, it’s no surprise that the smallest iPhone will have “Mini” on its name.
I could go for the mini though - whatever its called. Feel ilke it would fit perfectly in my hand, the 5.8" model puts the top of the phone just slightly out of reach....
iPhone SE will continue on as the best overall iPhone.

Yes! 750 for a "mini" is too high. And calling it a "mini" makes it sound like a diminuitive product, and I would hope that the price matches what consumers expect a diminuitive product to be priced at. $750 does not see like a price for a diminuitive product.
Though Apple could pull "marketing research" out their butt and easily price it at $750, knowing full well that people will "pay whatever for a small phone".... They read Macrumors. It's still all your faults if the phone is $750, lol 😂 (kidding)

I am certain that was a major reason why sales were down. No one understands that jargon. especially when the iphone se and iphone 11, iphone 11 pro and iphone 11 pro max are selling at the same time. I miss the days of ibook, imac, powerbook, powermac. It's so confusing to consumer having more than those kinds of options. You always leave the store wondering if you should have gotten the better model. ick.
