I suspect we’ll only see 120Hz on the Pro series. However, this now worries me less than before. Why? While the 120Hz refresh rate on my iPad Pro is amazing, recently I disabled it just to see if I noticed it... and at first I did, but later that day I completely forgot about it. To the point that few days later I had to check if it was active or disabled... it was, indeed, still disabled, and I had been using it without a real difference. I activated Pro-motion again, and I saw how cool it is, but I understood that I would be completely fine without it.120hz is a must.

Anyways I’m gonna buy the 5,4” and I doubt a small battery could handle a higher refresh rate screen without losing some precious battery-life.
120hz is a must.
Well, this would be great, but are you sure? Are there already rumors about the 2021 lineup?Well pro Motion will be on the non pro models in 2021. So all the pro features This year will appear on standard models next year supposedly
Original SE lovers rejoice! 5.4” would be tiny bit smaller than the iPhone 6 but with full screen display. Hooorayy!! Halelujah!!
Think Jon and kuo mentioned it a while back. Just rumours but it would make senseWell, this would be great, but are you sure? Are there already rumors about the 2021 lineup?
Apple can make it thinner for the first time in 6 years. That's a way of reducing the cost without compromising some hardware features.
100% there will be a notch on the "iphone 12". Should MacRumors propagate a myth by showing illustrations without the notch? At any rate, complaining about the design is not going to make it go away, before Apple is ready for a redesign.macrumors need to stop using the notch as a mockup of iPhone 12 and it's ridiculous that you always prefer to use the mediocre design concept for news reporting about next generation of iPhone.
I think my max was $1049 (or thereabouts). Considering the usage I'm happy with my purchase and look forward to the iphone pro max at the same price. I got the ipad 7th gen at $270...I went the other way in terms of tech in the ipad. When will we see iPhone pro max cost starting from $4999?
Everybody is looking at that $649 offering. I wonder why very few people mention Apple charges base model of 6.7” $1100 instead of $1000. Is that because flagship phones price is not expensive enough yet?
At this rate, I think I will not bother having top of the line iPhone anymore, and use the money to buy a top of the line iPad instead. If my iPhone XS Max die, I will pick the cheaper option and upgrade iPad instead.

Saying this another way, why is it necessary to criticize something multiple times across multiple threads? Exactly how is that helpful? Instead of insults maybe look at the concept of an anonymous Internet forum. So what if some of model the have a notch?! Do you really need to reply each post if they express unpleasant about the iPhone notch? Why do you think it's such a necessity for you to defend something that is generally disfavor by a segment of the demography? Are you that bad looking person who felt threatened if Apple decided to unveil notch-less iPhone 12?

While it’s not out of the realm of possibility the probability that Apple is not unveiling a phone with a notch is slim to none. You might have to accept that. Of course nothing is forcing you to buy any product you don’t like and there are avenues to send your feedback to Apple.
Again, I refer to the concept of an anonymous internet discussion forum. One is welcome to post a comment and another is welcome to respond. There are no multiple threads and the people don't need you to respond about thoughts regarding how Apple is going to make the product in each post that dislikes the notch screen design. People did not ask for any of your suggestions on whether or not to buy the product.
There is an ‘ignore’ feature... I’ve used it, ironically, on the person you were responding to.There are no multiple threads and the people don't need you to respond about thoughts regarding how Apple is going to make the product in each post that dislikes the notch screen design. It's because like you said, there are cheaper iphone models available. If that were the only iPhone model Apple sold and it retailed at $1100, a case could be made (and Apple would be committing retail suicide as well), but as it stands, Apple has a selection of iPhones hitting a variety of price points and at the end of the day, there's something for everyone.Everybody is looking at that $649 offering. I wonder why very few people mention Apple charges base model of 6.7” $1100 instead of $1000. Is that because flagship phones price is not expensive enough yet?
Because the 6.7" is replacing the 6.5" 11 Pro Max (and the XS Max before that) which already costs the same $1099.When will we see iPhone pro max cost starting from $4999?

Agreed.Huge if true. OLED and smaller size is the only reason I went Pro. I’d be all over a 5.4” non-pro OLED.
In this sense “SE” was used to describe the new iPhone SE, but h/t for pointing the obvious out.No it won't.
All reports and predictions indicate that it'll be slightly larger than the SE and smaller than the iPhone 8/New SE.
How do you disable ProMotion? I've never seen a setting for that.I suspect we’ll only see 120Hz on the Pro series. However, this now worries me less than before. Why? Settings -> Accessibility -> Movement -> Limit the frame frequency (to 60 fps)How do you disable ProMotion? I've never seen a setting for that.
Yeah, same.Because the 6.7" is replacing the 6.5" 11 Pro Max (and the XS Max before that) which already costs the same $1099.
The iPad is my preferred device so I've always prioritized that over the iPhone (only recently upgraded from 3.5 yr old iPhone 7 to the SE 2). Pretty much my main requirements on a smartphone are: iOS Continuity, reasonably fast, ok battery life, ok camera, smallish for single-handed use.
