Got my Pacific Blue 256GB 12 Pro Max, was scared at first because it gave an error message while checking out with Apple Pay but found out it was because someone already reserved the same time as me with instore pickup. Chose the next available time and went through without any issues. Can finally go back to sleep.

I had the same problem with the app... it would allow me to add the iPhone mini to the bag, but then would say something got interrupted when actually placing the order.
And then I also had the same resolution: use Apple Pay within the app, and that allowed me to get the order successfully placed.
Got my base blue mini within a minute after it became available to order. Held onto a 1st gen SE until I finally caved and got a bigger phone in the 11 pro after my SE went kaput... but I really missed having a lightweight device that allows 1 handed use.
Debated whether or not to upgrade for 128 gb but I'm only using half of the storage on my 64gb pro so...

It will come earlier, I'm almost sure. At least for me it has in the past on preorders.
Finally got thru on the website, bought a paid for Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max 256GB with discount, Nov 13th delivery date 🙂
Got mine in on mobile right at 801 eastern. The web page on my desktop didn’t let me in until 10 or so minutes later. I’m sure that will upset some people.
It's now 2 weeks out? I ordered mine right after they went live, have mine guaranteed to arrive on Friday next week.
I just kept hitting OK and it eventually went through.
Same. I had to keep checking and rechecking to make sure that I was picking the right phone and model because it seemed too smooth and quick, and wasn’t even 7am CST yet!
Order completed. e-mails received. New iPhone 12 Pro Max will be here next Friday... Had to go back in and order a silicon case separately, because I forgot it in my original order.

Everyone is getting standard delivery how did you get express delivery?
Finally got in but then the stupid app wouldn’t let me change the phone number so it was telling me I had to pay off my line first. Went to the website and it was still down but five minutes later finally loaded and was able to select the actual line I wanted to upgrade and the rest went smoothly.

Same here. Never used that procedure before. Does it show up in the Walet app after the charge is sent?
Interesting... did you place more than one order? It wouldn’t let me order more than 2 HomePod minis.
Demand must not be as strong as other years, 8:36am and all colors still available for launch day delivery. I placed my order at 8:00am on the dot via the App, but I always like for the first few hours checking the store to see how quickly things are slipping. So far no slips yet
