So says the guy crying to add more just because.
I'm pretty sure I'm not crying. I'm saying more RAM is always welcome. And you've made it abundantly clear that you don't have any evidence to support your claim of why Apple would stint on RAM ... because there are current flagships with a ton of RAM and a ton of battery life to boot. Please keep humoring me as to why you think more RAM is evil ... other than being an Apple apologist. I love Apple ... but they don't always do things for logical reasons ... such as a 1000 dollar phone having 64 GB of base storage as an example.

You’re comparing Android the iOS which is your first problem. Android uses more Memory and runs it full. iOS doesn’t. Adding more memory for the sake of it is dumb. If you’re not using it why spend the money on and resources. You mention the Note 10+ but you forget to mention the fact it has a 4,500 mah battery inside compare to the 3,100 some odd in the 11 pro and 3,500+ in the max. I’m far from an Apple apologist I just know iOS is vastly different then android. You don’t add RAM for kicks and giggles because it takes more resources. Adding 6 not so much but adding 12? You’re adding 120%? More ram into the device. Logical reasons ? There is very sound logic in 64gb. Sure it’s not consumer friendly but the logic is sound as can be. They want you to buy the 256gb.

Your reason for 64 GB is it's a selling point for 256 GB? Are you even reading what you're posting?

It would with 12GB of RAM. As I stated if you simply add 12GB in an iPhone 11 Pro you’ll lose a decent amount of battery life in comparison.

I repeat, no it won’t. Battery life is not even a remote issue for me, so adding more RAM will make not a jot of difference to my charging habits.

I have heard the bla bla bla how the iPhone only needs 4 gb of RAM, but with my usage it is BS.

My apps on the iPhone 11 Pro Max have to reload regularly.

So it is time Apple stops being cheap and put TOTL RAM instead of budget RAM specs on their flagship phone. There is no reason to put only 4gb in their flagship phones except being cheap and making more money.

Sadly, maybe the iPhone in the year 2039 might only have 8gb of RAM.

I’d love to see 6GB RAM in the normal versions and 8GB RAM in the Max models.

I don’t think it even needs 8 TBH, but it would be cool.

The issue seems to be iOS and how it manages particular tasks, it seems Apple has made it even more strict to save battery life in iOS 13.
