I do Have apple care plus and it’s a launch day iPhone I dont want to use my warranty for something this little
Depending on where you live, Apple is doing the extended holiday return and any item Received on 11/10/2020 do qualify, so OP should have till 1/8/2021 to initiate. I ended up returning the launch day iPhone 12 Pro max and on the website it told me that I do have till 1/8/2021 to initiate it. Not sure about iUP but I know that products paid in full usually do qualify.
OP, as usual, if you are on iUP, I would not worry about this, there is no such thing as perfect and I don't think this scratch on the frame would be an issue when you trade it in. Plus it's in a case.
Right I am and no there isnt a perfect phone

Well then all you have left is to just forget about it. There is no simple fix.
I believe that’s only for silver ones.
I know it’s frustrating but all these devices get marks and dings at some stage. Learn to appreciate the battle scars.

I can only suggest the that there was grit in side the case and that scratched the stainless steel. Thats why i only use Apple leather/slicone cases with microfibre lining. Never had a scratch before.
Sorry it got scratched, it's like getting a scratch on your new car, it's going to happen sooner or later. I got the Gold Pro and a Spigen clear case, so far so good. I am also an Apple stock holder, so I couldn't return my phone for something I accidentally did to it.

I bought spigen since the glass is from same company I’m not 100% what scratch it the case or align tray.

Over the phone and I told them it came scratched and they exchanged it waiting on the replacement from sales Jan 6 delivery date

Mine has some scratches on frame also but J now noticed it. I got my phone on Nov 14, wondering if they will exchange it since it has been a while.
Did they ask you if you’ve been using a cover? Or since it was still under the return period, they would just don’t really care?
