That's great. Is your store an express pick up only store? As in they have 4 check in windows? You could open it up there but if your store is a store front express pick up only setting store, then you won't be able to do an exchange, only online orders and pick ups. Hope for the best. Good luck
I just picked up the order and checked it out for damage. Then gave him my phone that was bought yesterday for refund. I'm not sure how many windows were open , I think four or more. Maybe 6.

I guess that would depend how big the store is? I guess any store that is medium sized have 4 windows, usually 2 for express pick up and 2 windows for genius bar. Anyways, glad to hear that you were able to get a new one and return the damaged one.

I have a hairline scratch between the bottom 2 cameras, it is only visible if the light hits it at that angle.
I thoroughly inspect every iPhone I get to make sure there are no scratches or anything of that sort, I don't think the scratch came with it in the box so surely something must have caused it after I got it like dust or something; for whatever reason it catches a lot of dust. Now, the scratch bothers me quite a lot, I regret not having bought a dbrand skin but oh well, it's there and surely bothers me.. should I return it and get it replaced? I would still be within my 14 day period, they elongated the period as there is a national lockdown here which means I would have to wait for a while but eventually I could get it replaced; I really don't want to though as I am aware that by replacing it I could end up with an iPhone that has other problems (blacks that are not true blacks, flickering issue, gaps between the steel sides and the screen, camera not focusing..) whereas as for now I only have the yellow tint and the green tint, which don't bother me.

In short, I can get it replaced but the thought of ending up with worse problems scares me ..hence let me change my question, does anyone else have these hairline scratches on the camera housing/bump? Of if they did on the previous iPhones (11 pro/pro max)? As this would make me clear my mind and convince me to not return it as eventually that part of the iPhone would collect these microscratches regardless ..looking forward for some replies!

Send it back at your peril. You already know about the green tint and raised black issue. Chances are high that the replacement will have these issues.

yep I know, thats why I would rather not risk it.. has anyone here tried to check their camera housing under different lights and tilt to see any microscratches? I am just trying to see how common this is or if eventually this area of the iPhone is going to be scratched anyway.. mind that it is not the lens, its the camera housing/bump made of glass that I am talking about

I will it’s wear and tear I was shocked with a case a scratch
There are a lot of cases where a case can scratch and do more harm than good. In my case I just go careless, because I love the feel of the phone. Of course now the sides are scratched too all hell, but it takes some time to learn to live with it.

Update bought a brand new one has a speck of debri is on back cover I’m keeping this one better
That's unfortunate that, but don't let it bother you. Just keep it, because if you are on iUP, you are going to trade that in so all that stuff won't really matter. I'd understand if you intend to keep it for a long time but for a short term. I would not worry about it.

I wouldn’t at this point quality control is bad plus I’m using a case for it to cover it everything will have a defect nothing is perfect

Agreed. Nothing is perfect, maybe when you upgrade, you'll get a good one that is tolerable.

Okay well it's 6 month actually, not 3 month.

And when you check out when you upgrade for the next iphone, you will have to make equivalent of at least 12 payments. So maybe june or july you would be eligible. You can only pay monthly for now.

Sorry it got scratched, it's like getting a scratch on your new car, it's going to happen sooner or later. I got the Gold Pro and a Spigen clear case, so far so good. I am also an Apple stock holder, so I couldn't return my phone for something I accidentally did to it.
Yep. You get that first scratch and think, “well, ok. That’s out of the way now.”

I don’t get your point about being a stock holder, though. Returning your phone whether it’s for a defect or something you did isn’t going to screw up their stock prices. They expect a percentage of things to be returned, for whatever reason.
