Send it back 😂😭found the speck of dust Apple quality control is bad
same hereSend it back 😂😭
Only joking.
I just got mine in today, it’s not 1300 dollar perfect but it’ll do me until next time 😉
I was cleaning the back of the phone I'm not returning it took much of a hasselOp must have magnifying glass eyes lol.
Quality control nowdays at Apple is utter garbage, received a 12 with a scratch on the simtray and the sim slot wasn't perfectly finished... Complained about that sended it in and got it back with scratches on the back glass! Complained about and nothing they could do but that must be due that i live in Europe it's absolutely the worst service here you basically have to deal with it. So sold that device with profit and bought myself a 12 Pro Max, opened it up inspected it pretty much no damage to be seen other than some coating dings and micro scratches on the sides and the screen had a smudge from liquid which wiped off easily but probably from the factory so i just ignored it, i suggest to not look for this kind of stuff because you will start to find things you didn't see before thats why i just installed a screenprotector and put a case around it, it will get usage marks at some point. I recommend Spigen Cyrill cases they are so good got myself a leather one it has protective liner for the back, the normal Spigen cases could cause damage since it's more likely to have 100% TPU. If you want full protection and be 100% sure get a Apple silicone/leather case. I'm glad to finally see a thread for once with people that actually accept the fact that no iPhone is perfect. My iPhone 12 pro max PB the frame on the bottom one scratch I’m using a case and glass cover.
I do take it out to clean it I’m using spigen tough amor
I really don’t want to take it back etc
what can I do ?
Yep, one of my 12PM was scratched around the gold frame rim area so bad it had gouges on it out of the box. I had never seen anything like that before on any product.Quality control nowdays at Apple is utter garbage, received a 12 with a scratch on the simtray and the sim slot wasn't perfectly finished... Yes i have seen the picture, things like that are obviously unacceptable for sure. The dings and tiny micro scratches (only a few) which are only visible in direct light are not worth replacing, if it's only visible in direct light it means nobody else would see it even caseless. If people really want to prevent it, then i suggest leaving it in the box lol. Too bad Apple has gone down in Quality Control, maybe due Covid-19 who knows but i hope it ever improves again.Yep, one of my 12PM was scratched around the gold frame rim area so bad it had gouges on it out of the box. I accepted the replacement new one which had a hairline mark on the top frame and a little discoloration of the gold in the same area where the band bends. As you mentioned, it was only visible in direct sunlight so acceptable. But the one with gouges was definitely not. LOL My take on it is, production with little to no down time to calibrate equipment and such. Basically cutting corners to meet demand to a certain extent.Yes i have seen the picture, things like that are obviously unacceptable for sure.
