People really out here criticizing anything they do just because it's Apple..... remember when headphone jack was removed then everyone copied them so now it's awesome not to have one? loL
No actually. It’s still not awesome. Corporate greed

It may be but that doesn't mean people are willing to give up major features for it. If that was the case smartphone batteries could be made to last a week or more

Who wants a slower wireless charger over a phone that lasts a week? Its not really wireless like wifi, it just means you don't have to do the "plug-in" action, you still have to have a cable and that phone has to be over the cable. It should be called "plugless charging".

headphone jack worked because you could buy a dongle adapter for earpods, and most people jumped to wireless anyway via bluetooth speakers and airpods.

My point about the battery life is that everyone wants a battery that lasts forever but there is no point in it if the battery is powering something that can't do what you want. Take the screen off the phone and the battery probably would last a month. No one would want it though. Everything is a compromise. The goal for a company that makes a product is making one that makes their customers mostly happy. No one product will be perfect for everyone. If you make it perfect for one person it will be less perfect for the majority of people. I might want that screenless phone.

Wireless charging is popular because you can set your phone down to charge without an additional step of plugging it in. Yes at some point there has to be wires. You have wires going into your house. Right now we don't have the technology for wireless electricity
