I absolutely do! I've had the 12 regular for a month and I really liked it. Size and weight are great.

I'm only surprised that there is so much talk about the 12 Pro Max being 'huge', 'enourmous', 'a beast', because in my opinion that really is not the case. When I showed it to a relative with an XR today, she was certain at first that it was not bigger. I had to put it on mine to point it out.

Off course everyone has his/her/their taste & preferences. But after reading about its outreageous size for 2 months, and then finally receiving mine, I thought: this is nonsense: there is nothing extreme about this phone - at all (except maybe the price )

You’re right it’s a taste preference. I owned an 8 Plus for 2 years and although I got used to it, it was cumbersome and a right pain in the backside to carry sometimes. I always had to take it out of my pocket when I sat down or got into the car. It always had a presence on my thigh in my pocket too. The iPhone 12 I have now is quite a bit smaller, and it’s enough for me to be glad I don’t have a big phone anymore. The screen benefit and smaller body is the satisfying part.

So for me, the 12 Pro Max is too big for my tastes. It’s too big as an everyday carry phone and too small as an iPad so on that basis does not interest me at all. We are all different and we buy what appeals.

There was a certain amount of commentary it was less comfortable to hold than the 11PM, but that seemed focused on the boxier design more than the size. The corner radius seems bigger on the 12PM than the 11PM, I wonder if that is a concession to making it more comfortable to hold?

I have an 8 plus which I find extremely unwieldy . If it’s bigger than that , forget it .

I want a 12 mini with pro max guts , maybe the 13 will deliver ?

I will admit holding the 12 Pro Max for an extended period without a case is uncomfortable. I tried to test it out for 24 hours at home and only made it for 4 hours before I put my case back on. The square sides were digging in my hands which made it uncomfortable. I had no issues using my XS Max without a case but didn’t because it was too slippery.

I’m wondering if I’ll still use my iPad mini after I get my 12 pro max.
This. This is why I just can’t seem to keep the mini - because of my 12 Pro Max. I’d rather have an iPad Pro 11 if I was going to have an iPad with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I really want my 12 Pro Max to be my primary device but Apple Books doesn’t utilize the whole screen (like Kindle/Libby/every other app under the sun) - and unfortunately that’s where most of my books are.

Right now, if I am staring at my 12 pro max, It looks small compared when I newly got it.

Yep. When I went from the 11 Pro Max to the 12 Pro .... it was noticeable. I did get used to it but it felt small. Then when my wife got her 12 Pro Max - yeah nope... had to get the 12 Pro Max.

I’ve done tests where I use nothing but my 12 Pro Max for reading/mobile activities and a week of that - my 12 Pro Max feels small and I’m wanting my iPad again.

I can’t explain it. The 11 Pro Max was heavy... but the 12 Pro Max just hurts after holding it awhile. I’m a 5’11 (heavy) guy - and I type all day so I don’t think I’m terribly weak when it comes to hand strength... but there’s something about that flat bottom that makes it feel heavier vs the rounded bottom of the 11.

Ergonomics are both important and personal. It's good that you've investigated what works for you and what doesn't!

This is true. But the phone is so sexy that I have learn to enjoy the pain.

On a 6S at the moment....still....my hands are small. Using one hand I still cannot reach the upper left/right area of my screen stretching my right thumb so I find using two hands more comfortable. And that is on a 4.7 inch screen! I'm not a call freak and prefer surfing the web and using short mail.
What I DID notice on plus/max modals was their WIDTH! which I liked compared to other smaller modals. Sounds crazy for a guy with small hands but due to its width it naturally had a tighter feeling with better grip. OS14 is the end of the road for 6S so I will upgrade sooner or later to most likely a max modal. In the end it is preference and what you feel most comfortable with.

I am using an Iphone 12 Pro Max for almost 20 days, after having an 11 pro max.
In the beginning I thought "this phone is too big and sharp in the edges that is totally uncomfortable to hold", but now I am getting use to that and I wouldn't change it for a smaller one (though I was thinking to buy 12 pro).
I think If you use an Iphone, the screen has to be as big as it can so the notch is less anoying 😎

What a load of nonsense has been written about the size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It's enourmous! It's on the edge of being too big! It's too heavy! It hurts my pinky! I've been reading things like this for 2 months while waiting for mine to arrive. Now I have it, and I'm wondering what the hell everyone is talking about.

Coming from an iPhone Xr, this device is absolutely not too big. It's only a tad larger. After a few hours I didn't even notice the size difference anymore. And the issues with the pinky? C'mon. Seriously?

It's been well established that on the internet, the flock tends to run with the opinion that was first posted. I'm guessing that's what happened here. Some reviewers said it was too big, and many just went with it.

It's nonsense. Absolute nonsense. This device is awesome.

Welcome to planet earth where everyone has a different experience and there’s nothing wrong with it, shock/horror!😂

Enjoy your 12 Pro Max, I love it’s size but as with anything, people differ in what they need and want out for their smartphone.

I want the 12 only for the square corners, I think it's better to hold that the curved sides of the 11.
