You need a TV a lot less than a smartphone. Although, I think you could get by minimum with something like a Blackberry that does email much better than any crappy dumbphone would.

Sure, I’ll just get a flip phone, a Tom Tom, an mp3 player, a... I could go on. Or I can use a smartphone that can do everything. If you want to be a Luddite have at it. However, back to your original point, none of those products are made in the US either. I guess after your first terrible point, you moved on to your next terrible one.
