I got my Iphone 13 Pro on 20th November, the battery performance is not as I had heard and seen in the review. Ive been trying to be very conservative in my usage, with Instagram being the most used app. The background app usages are very high. Turned background Refresh off for Instagram and WhatsApp today, will wait to see results ahead. Also i had heard that there literally no/Minimal battery discharge if left unused overnight, but the story here is completely different, it trained 14% overnight.

Your experience seems much like mine. Not seeing "great battery life"... Basically on par with iPhone 11 Pro. I will say that overnight drain isn't consistent. Several nights ago I lost 15%, but last night I lost only 5% (over ~7 hrs idle, not on charger).

My experience so far is quote the opposite... I was very mindful in my usage on my Android phone, as I could kill the battery if I was not careful and that carried to the 13P for the first few days... then I realized I was not even reaching 60% by the end of the day, so I started using it more and more, and if I charge it to 100%, I end up most days around 40-50% with heavy usage. I did tinker with the settings a bit (from a YT video), and I did not transfer from an old phone, just a clean set up.

It's by far the best battery I've experienced on a phone.

I feel it has something to do with the restore from backup. I used to use a SE1 back in 2018 before transitioning to android. Finally got back to the 13 Pro, so restored contacts and everything from Move to iOS and also from my old SE1. I am backing up the entire device so i can reset the phone. I so do not want to do that.

I‘ve been trying to drain the battery to see how the phone charges with MagSafe. Took me a while to get it down to where it is now…

I’m not sure how this compares. Just about average I guess?

Looks like after you charged to 100%, you were getting about 10 hrs battery life. For the 80% battery charge, it looks like you were getting about 8 hrs battery life. Your standby battery drain looks really good at about 3%.

Try unpair the Apple Watch from your iPhone. On the iPhone, Reset Network Settings. Restart your Apple Watch. Pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone.

Thanks for clarifying. I haven’t got my head around those graphs completely. Appreciate your summary.

A couple of things. First the 24 hour and 10 battery usage charts will overlap the screen on/off times when you charge. In other words, the charts are not representative of battery life off the charger. Secondly, the 24 hour is a moving 3 hour window.

Screen off time consumes battery so that should be included in the calculation of battery life. I just manually add up all bars off the charger.

I'm disappointed with my iPhone 13 purchase too! The battery charge is enough for an extremely short time! What did I pay money for?

Still trying to find what causes my relatively low battery life with my 13 Pro Max. Is it that Apple Music streaming to AirPods (most music is downloaded) drains battery? As that is the only thing left and I'm using that a lot each day.
Not using lossless though Spatial sounds. And yes I have lot's of find my stuff and home accessoires but they don't show up as a high percentage of battery usage.

Does any buddy talk about idle drainage of battery in the night how much percent drop out is ok on iPhone 12 pro having background refresh rate off plus location mobile data running in the background?

Getting a bit concerned about my 13 Pro battery. After unplugging from the charger it literally stays on 100% for a few minutes and then its down to 99%.

So, been a couple of weeks since I posted here. With my battery life having stabilized a bit I wanted to see if it's still holds up with some of claims made in this topic.

Included screenshots show my yesterday's battery life. I put it back on the charger with around 40% left. Slightly less than 7,5 hours of (light to medium) usage, from what I make of it. Anyone who can get me some better insight? While I make it through the day easily - even two days during the weekends, with minimum to light sometimes medium usage, I'm thinking about doing a clean reinstall. Especially if it'd hand me comparable battery life under heavier usage.

Think I finally found the reason of my poor battery life of my 13Pro Max when at home… Turned off private relay as it doesn’t support my network (and turned it self off) but seems it was still eating battery ? Looks now I will easily get those extreme numbers.

Hey guys. How is your battery consumption when doing just calls? Over LTE/5G. I’m using here the Telekom.de Provider in Germany (WLAN Call not working yet their support has to fix it) and even with a good 4/5 mobile phone signal it gets decent warm or let’s say „warmer“ and it’s dropping much faster %.

Any idea what that could be? I’m usin an eSIM. Doing WhatsApp calls over WiFI is much much much better battery lifetime so far.

I’m lovin the battery life of the 13.

I’m actually struggling to deplete it so I can bench test the MagSafe charger I also purchased ?

I have this too. At first i had a feeling that is because of my ear, being too hot ?. But it starts to cool down after 20-30 minutes on the same call. Esim also
