Since I took 15.2 my battery dropped only 2 % overnight! Will continue to observe and hope this great battery trend will continue. If so I will stay on 15.2 forever! LOL

Isso nao parece normal... meus últimos 10 dias. Chame a Apple, poderia ser bateria com defeito.

I have this too. At first i had a feeling that is because of my ear, being too hot ?. But it starts to cool down after 20-30 minutes on the same call. Esim also
do you think that's of the provider happening? Do you also have telekom? What I tried is, to put the Phone into Airplane mode and do calls over Wifi, its not getting that warm and battery is lasting A LOT longer!

I’m on Vodafone. It doesn’t bother me much for now, i’ll wait for a software update or something. Anyway, I’ve seen all my calls are present in battery stats as screen on time. I know i dont speak with the phone on speaker so is a bug somewhere. 15.3, here i come ?

but you noticed that the battery "drops" a bit faster right?

Did you try to enable Airplane mode (with Bluetooth) and tried to call only over WLAN? in my case its getting only a bit warm and battery life is amazing that way.. just in case :)

It’s always been that way doubt it will be changed

I’m also on Vodafone network, is that why by battery sucks? Food for thought

I dont think network provider impacts battery life. Unless the place you live has bad signal. The 10h SOT is 15.1.1, the 8 hours is 15.2. Is almost the same. Maybe 1 hour less on the 15.2, but both are on Vodafone. I dont have 5g on, if this is important.

Looks like 15.2 is kinda crazy battery-wise... granted I didn't use it as much yesterday, but I recharged it 24hrs ago and I'm still at 80% ?

Those are my stats, 10 days new iPhone 13 Pro. Charged at 8 am now at 12pm is already 85 %.
Do you think is normal such drop? Since I am still in my 14 days I will return otherwise. Battery drops quickly in mz opinion for such use.

Did you use the camera or a graphics intensive game at any point? Those 2 tend to drain the battery quicker. There are also background stuff that drains battery as well (location services, etc.), so make sure to tune those. This is a good video for this.

No games, no camera. I will check. I was at the end of the day, 11 pm with 30% that is good with me. I just checked your video and optimized it further, will do a 2-3 days test. Thank you.

I’m curious whether many people with low battery performance on 13 Pro also have an Apple Watch. I do. And I also transferred settings from previous iPhone.

Also, I just came from a Genius therapy session at Apple Store. She told me that battery data is part of the a backup, so starting over is the only way to get a clean start there. After Christmas I guess that’s what I’ll do… She also endorsed the idea of doing update from ipsw file, saying Geniuses see that OTA updates sometimes seem to introduce problems, even though that really shouldn’t be the case due to software verification in secure boot chain…

Yes I also have an Apple watch 5. Do you think this is related?

Today I had this result on my 12th day:

Charged fully at 8.35am and at 12:00am is already 28%. Something is wrong here. Only 5h and half the screen was on.

How can I set up everything clean? I did a "phone-to-phone" transfer as they told me was better than an iCloud backup.

Thanks.

Ciao Coso,

The problem is that we got a 1,5k phone advertised to have a great battery. It cannot be so bad and just marketing. I have the same performance as my iPhone X. I could have invested 1,5k in something else.

My brother got a 250 dollar Redmi last week, he uses the phone like crazy, tindering half of his day, and he complained to me that at the end of the day he has to charge the phone. If I would use the phone like him, it would last 6 hours.

It bothers me as well. I should have exchanged earlier probably. But I don't know anyone that had it exchanged for poor battery yet. Not sure if it's software or not.
