Unless you know every single person around you has the vaccine, you still have to wear a mask.
Not with the effective rates of those vaccines. They appear to be good enough at reducing the viral load to where even if you get it the symptoms will be mild. Of course, if you have serious co-morbidities you might want to still wear a mask.

I personally will keep a mask in my bag and only put it on in seriously crowded situations, but since I won't be wearing a mask during the majority of my phone usage so FaceID should be fine again.

People have spent so much time repeating "masks are the new normal" that they forgot that they're only the "new temporary".

For you, yes. But without the mask, you’ll be spreading it to people who don’t have the vaccine yet.
 
Vaccine supposedly will be widely available by around May, that's when my mask comes off. If the vaccine is available for all and someone chooses not to take it that is not my problem
 
can we stay on topic? Why not have touch ID and face iD? Getting rid of face ID and say having a finger frint scanner embedded in the screen or like the ipad air power button would minimize the large notch.
