I doubt it. That’s Samsung! Please Apple make this the one that supports the Pencil!
Haha... well that somewhat remains to be seen.N
Nice! Where’s the honeymoon at?
Either Apple is really good at locking down leaks on new features, or these new iPhones are going to have only the smallest incremental features from last year. It appears those who have an iPhone 11 or 12 will have to search really hard to find a compelling reason to update, which is probably a good thing given how Apple is trying to be more "green".
Well because Apple kind of burned me on that purple being released in Spring, I’m going to wait and see if they do a surprise color again for minis later in the year.Ahh, I hope you change your mind the Apple event changes your mind. So you can place an order come this September@GrumpyMom
I’ll help you. Visit Maui, Hawaii.Haha... well that somewhat remains to be seen.
Theoretically, over in the US... but that does rely on travel restrictions barring UK travellers from entering the US being lifted in the next few weeks. If that doesn't happen, then that trip will get pushed back, and we'll go away for a shorter break somewhere closer to tide us over.
Fingers crossed though.
That would pose the same issue - UK travellers aren't currently allowed to enter the US - don't think Hawaii is any different. It's somewhere I'd love to go one day though.I’ll help you. Visit Maui, Hawaii.
I hope you get your shiny iPhone 13 before taking off to your honey
They usually have the announcement the week after Labor Day week.I have a feeling it might be a week earlier. I don’t think Apple will release it on September 24. Too far out
You’ll need better battery tech with 120hz screensI feel like for the last 5-6 years battery technology in phones has really grown stagnant for the end-user. I would really like to return to the days where you didn't have to charge your phone EVERY night for the next day. Apple's new M1 chips has shown that we can extend these boundaries further.
Agreed.Wi-Fi 6E is probably the most-important least-talked-about feature !
It has Game Changer potential !
We’d love to have you back. Mainland or HI/AKThat would pose the same issue - UK travellers aren't currently allowed to enter the US - don't think Hawaii is any different. It's somewhere I'd love to go one day though.
This or maybe a week earlier is what I'm guessing the timeline will be.Probably announced on Tuesday, September 14th, pre-orders on Friday, September 17th, and available on Friday, September 24th — if history holds.
Apple can do an iPhone with 2-days battery if they want to. However, Apple went a different route, by setting a fixed target battery life instead, eg. 14-17 hours of video playback. Example, the 12 has roughly the same rated battery life as the 11 and XR. So when they have a more efficient SoC, instead of keeping battery size the same and add more battery life, Apple will actually put smaller battery to match their preset target battery life.I feel like for the last 5-6 years battery technology in phones has really grown stagnant for the end-user. No. If you want a phone on launch day you'll have to pay the extra payment. Same thing happened when I upgraded from X to 11.Any thoughts on if Apple will "pull up" eligibility for the new phone for those with the "iPhone every year" upgrade program, given the iPhone 12 launched in October last year (meaning no order until October next year). I would think Apple would want to capitalize on launch orders instead of making everyone wait until October to purchase.
