I have a red tint display on my 13PM. You guys can have a look below and see it for yourselves. The one on the left is the 13PM compared to the 11PM on the right.

If anything the 11 pro has a green tint

Do you see the red tint with your eyes or just photos ? what percent brightness was it set to when you took that photo in a dark cupboard?

Well in all seriousness I did notice it in a pitch black room at night.

Edit: The brightness was set to auto and it seems to be around 10-15% brightness level.

I’m convinced all these panels are the same, doing the smart thing mate, don’t waste your time and energy replacing it.
Some of the panels are better than the others. The panel on my 13 Pro Max is really good. So they do exist. Is my panel perfect? No. Off-axis color shift is crap but it is what it is.

Had this phone replaced due to extreme red tint o right side of display.

The replacement iPhone 13 Pro Max came in a refurbished box today, so that tells me Apple is aware of discrepancies in display quality. My new phone is less warm, brighter, sharper, shows more contrast, and doesn’t have the tint issue.

I have this issue as well. It’s almost the same as yours. If your replacement unit didn’t have the issue then I think I still have hope to own a 13PM for long haul lol.

Press and hold both volume buttons and the power button until the haptic engine vibrates once. If successful, you will see a sysdiagnose folder. Save it to files and uncle notes the folder. Open up IODeviceTree in the search bar. Towards the bottom of the file is “raw-panel-serial-number”

I also found two interesting finds that I can, such as a hidden “light portrait” mode, ProRes API’s, and that the RAM is actually DDR5, not DDR4X.
Hello @AmazingTechGeek previously I had found the sysdiagnose folder in the Privacy Settings on iOS 15.02. However on iOS 15.1 I cannot find the sysdiagnose folder anymore. Could you please tell me where to find this folder in iOS 15.1? I would like to find the "raw-panel-serial-number" in that folder. Thanks!

Perform the button sequence again to create a new folder, decompress it and open it either in Files or Pages. raw-panel-serial-number is three-fourths of the way towards the bottom of iotree file.

Thanks for your quick reply. I am able to create the sysdiagnose folder on my iPhone 12mini, but am unable to create the folder on my iPhone 11 (which has a LCD screen). Does this method not work on iPhone 11?

Update: This method does work on iPhone 11. It just took a very long time for the file to be generated.
My iPhone 11 LCD screen first 3 characters are C3F. Any idea what that means or which vendor manufactured it?

I bought two iPhone 12 Pros last year, and returned both because they were too warm.

I bought an iPhone 13 Pro this year, and found it warmer than my iPhone X and two MacBooks Pro too. This time I tried to adapt my eyes to them. But after 10 days, I still can't get over it. I returned it..

Back to my iPhone X. It is much slower, but at least the color is accurate.

I just got my new 13 pro Max. It has a slight green tint if compared to my iPhone X (perfect color) and some older iPhones from friends. I’ll compare to other 13 pro from other friends tomorrow.

I went from iPhone 7 to iPhone 13mini and total satisfaction . It's the best phone I've ever had. Perfect color display . And I will add that last year I returned 2x iPhone 12mini due to yellow piss display.iPhone 13/13mini is perfect in terms of display

This is interesting. After reading all the comments, I almost wish my screen was warmer. The last 2 iPhone 13 pros that I have returned had blue screens and I don’t mean blue tint. Making all Color’s looked washed out. And my current iPhone 13 pro has the problem. But when I went to the apple store all the iPhone 13 pros had a warmer screen.

I am facing scrolling stutter and flickering on my 13 pro max . Can anybody please confirm about their device.

Mostly i am facing on twitter , FB, app store , file app etc

Yday I compared my 6S to every 13 mini on the Apple Store floor with true tone, auto brightness, & white point reduction off + colour filters the same.

The 6S's LED crystals & backlight make the colours more vibrant, the whites less "dirty" & everything brighter than the 13's Oled screen. Yes the 13 has true black but u only appreciate this when video fades to black which in terms of total phone usage is never.

Given how small the screens are, the extra resolution on the 13 was unnoticeable!! I ran a 4K video on the 13 alongside the same video in 1080p on the 6S and couldn't tell the difference. With video being played at 16:9 dimensions the size of picture on the 13 was a fraction smaller.

If you look at your photos on the phone's screen you will also not notice anything different from the 13's better camera as the quality of the pictures is limited by screen resolution. Think watching 4K content on a 1080p TV screen.

Apple are the masters of selling specs which make absolutely no difference in practice. They're selling us wolf tickets & we're eating them right up.

I upgraded from a iPhone 6S Plus to a 13 Pro Max and for me it was night and day better. The cameras on the 6S Plus was nothing compared to my 13 Pro Max. 100% better low light and night mode shots and a usable macro camera. I could never go back to using my 6S Plus, the 13 Pro is so much nicer to use. To me the 6S Plus just feels ancient. I love having a all screen phone. Even the 13 Mini has just about the same size screen as my 6S Plus had, in a very small and light package. The battery life on my 13 Pro Max is insane. I am getting even better battery life in 15.2. I disagree that the iPhone is all about specs. Apple does not publish CPU frequency or even how much RAM is in the iPhone. And Apple is probably the last to still be using a 12 MP cameras. Is the iPhone 13 perfect, no. Perfect will be different for each person. Don’t want OLED, go for the iPhone 11 which is still being produced. Apple is offering something for almost every price point.
