It was probably because you cannot purchase these devices any longer. Maybe this was for folks wondering if they should purchase what is currently available.
I guess, but you can still find sealed 12 PM at retailers. Or ones with 100% battery health. Not like 1% between 99% and 100% is going to really stand out if the battery life has improved as much as we're being told.

but but but it's only an incremental upgrade  /s
Let's be real only some power users are upgrading for an extra 2hrs of battery life from 8 - 10 hours. It's nice but but most people don't need 10 hrs of screen on time or if they do they most likely have easy access to top their phones up during the day, portable chargers etc. Especially during a pandemic.

If iPhones were half the price they currently are you might have a better argument to upgrade but way to expensive if you have an iPhone 12 to 11 IMO.

Interestingly the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro essentially have the same size battery; yet obviously, the huge increase in battery life. I am liking the A15.

I turned 120hz off, turned it back on 3 seconds later, can’t use my iPhone without it anymore 😂

I’m sure one of these YouTubers will test it out.
Yes dont blame you, but you must be loving your 13 PM, it must be considered the best phone on the planet right now, it literally dominates in every area possible… battery life, cameras, performance… for a cost of course! Enjoy!

But, but, where are the technical specs? You see, that’s the ONLY thing matters, right? On the matter, ANY, ANY flagship Android phones EASILY beat the so-called “king” in your test. Because of that, FOR SURE your test is USELESS, all of the Android flagship phones include larger batteries!

Not wrong there mate, 120hz is amazing, battery life is out of this world.

Just hit 90% 👇 Android phones with 120hz can’t even dream about getting this type of battery life. 😳

It’s amazing, if you watch the video these questions are answered.

If those are the 'complete results' than they aren't done testing and I am not going to waste my time with their video. In fact, I wasn't going to watch their video at all because all that matters is that one chart.

To put this into perspective for all the iPhone exclusive users.

120HZ displays are massive battery drainers. In all my android phones all the 120hz phones I've had haven't lasted this long at all.

My Fold 3 impresses me as it lasts all day for me even though I use it alot in the tablet mode.

But to have a display that's 120Hz last this long on a phone is really something. Apple is doing something really outstanding here with their chip and screen setup. I am seriously impressed.

Very encouraging that the 13 mini gets better results than the full-size 12.
Indeed .. constant on-screen use is a full 6.25hrs from full 100% to fully dead! Most people don't use these phones or any phones fully flat out that long ... VERY impressive.

Given my daily use unless travelling and completely board or hooked I could go from 8AM to 6PM maybe a full 12 hr day with Focus enabled for work, working out reading/studying.

The best battery life out any iPhone I ever owned was the XR. That bad boy really did last two days. My 11 and 12 didn’t even come close.
Yeah, I’m moving from an XR to the Mini.

Three years ago, I wanted the 5.8” XS, but the XR had the best battery life of ALL iPhones, and I just couldn’t resist. Coming from an original SE, I didn’t want to worry about battery anymore.

Now there’s little reason to not get the smaller phone!
