The latest Ferrari is faster than the 2 years old Ford Fiesta. Useless comparison!. Compare this year vs last year equivalent model!. Apples to apples!. What a ridiculous joke of “evaluation”, why Macrumors bothered to mention it?. It is completely devoid of scientific method. “This year’s Apple is heavier than 2 year’s ago strawberry, just saying”. Really, just click-bait, please don’t include this articles. Please.

So based on his two videos 12 pro max lasts 7h 16min vs 13 pro max 9h 52min.

And only for that I am going to be switching. Impressive upgrade!
I don‘t care for 120Hz, even if I have it already on my iPad Pro.

In last years test the Iphone 11 got over 5hrs and I get like 10hrs of screen on time on my 11 with 82% battery health, this test is weird

Got an iPhone 12mini and run every day, really, every day on 4:10-4:30 screen on time (dark mode) and stick it on the charging pad over night at around midnight with over 30% left. It is also hours on tethering for the MBA. I can´t really complain. Love that tiny phone.
Lets see what the 14 brings. If Apple hat a touch ID in the 13, I would have bought it strait away, but like this, there is no reason.

Wish they did older models but it would be hard to get them with 100% battery health. I have a 7+ and I'm pretty sure that all of the models in the list have more battery life than mine.

I guess some people are more sensitive to 120 vs 60Hz, after using 120 60 feels like a slideshow to scroll the ui.
Even if you don't care for the 120 refresh the upgrade is a good investment, you will also get a high premium when you sell as there will be more demand for the 120Hz model.

The battery life on the iPhone 13 Pro Max is just insane considering that the battery size is not all that large compared to the competition. Smallest battery in its size category.

Can't wait for the battery to be smaller next year.

Then bigger the year after that.

Then smaller again.

So on.
Seems like the trend.
Xs: so so battery life
11 Pro: larger and better battery life
12 Pro: smaller again and so so battery life
13 Pro: larger and better battery life

Anytime there's a better battery life, on the next version, Apple seems to go backwards.

That's not a valid test since iPhone 13 Pro Max isn't 120Hz but more like 60Hz on the high end and 10Hz on the low end while others are 120Hz high and 60Hz low. If you cap Hz to 60Hz high and 10Hz low on other devices they'll see boost in battery life too. Need to retest when Apple releases OS bug fix without Hz cap.

Even if you have just one day in your life when you use a phone for 10 hours it's one day too much.

The iPhone 11 only lasted 4+ hours - a bit longer than an SE?? That doesn’t seem to correlate with most real world experiences
I agree..... The iphone 11pro has an excellent battery... I've tested mine with coconut battery and the charge is still 100% Battery health on the iphone 11 pro still says 100%. However, I am glad that the newer phones have even larger batteries. This is encouraging as battery longevity is a major selling point. I wonder what my iphone 11pro battery health indicator will read when I plan on upgrading to the iphone 14 pro next year.

Yeah... Made no sense. I don't like mrOppoShill, but to verify, I watched the video and on the YouTube test, it's not even installed on the 11. So while the other iPhones are on idle waiting, he's installing and setting up YouTube on the 11. Well obviously it suffers.

Basically, only see this as the 13 having better battery life than the 12. The comparison with the 11 is invalid. Really really poor, I mean did he think that's a totally okay comparison? Ah well, he's an OPPO shill anyway.

I immediately noticed how good the battery life was, honestly I think it's the primary reason (even over 120 Hz on the screen) to jump from the 12 to the 13.
