The new display unit is much much better, although it is not 100% uniform and which it never be, in my opinion it is most accurate. I would definitely recommend you to keep it.Auto brigness on, nigth shift on and also true tone on (about 10% of brigness) .
The rigth it's the replacement unit of my iPhone 13 pro max bougth on november. (Today received).
The left one it's my original 13pm from november...
I don't know if I still see a little bit of pink or its just a placebo effect (or my mind) but I think that I Will keep this one, I took me about 7 weeks to get this replacement.
If the photo was taken with lowest brightness setting then you are lucky.how do these look to y’all? The first one I had was worse. I’m paranoid about it but I also know that no OLED is perfect. View attachment 1956123View attachment 1956124View attachment 1956126View attachment 1956125
In my opinion if you can replace it than it’s worth trying with no extra cost or return and wait for next model if you can. I have the same issue but on right side and living with it because I’m in the country where apple do not provide replacement. Yes it bothers me at night. This is how mine looks at 7-10% with both true tone and night shift on (at 50% warmth).
Unsure if I should get screen replaced under warranty or just stick with it and get used to it.
Kind of hesitant since I only have the phone for a month now and don't want it to be worse or have other issues after getting it repaired.
Thoughts?
Some green tinting with vertical pink tint about 3/4 of the way to the right of the screen, but you probably didn't need anyone to tell you that. If you don't notice the pink or green tint during day to day use it's a keeper. So I took the chance and got the screen replaced again. I feel like this one is much better, albeit not perfect. The first two are with 3s and 10s night shots and the third one is with no night mode or flash. What do y’all think? #ratemyscreen ???
Yup. I will say the night exposures really highlight the tints to a very over exaggerated degree. Neither that green nor the pink are seen with normal use. Night and day difference from my last one. I’m happy with it.Some green tinting with vertical pink tint about 3/4 of the way to the right of the screen, but you probably didn't need anyone to tell you that. just got my 13PM two weeks ago, noticed it right away while omw home in a car and a dark road, had the screen as attached “mine is the left one vs my bro’s which is perfectly uniform”
went through the hassle of replacement and paid almost 90$ for an instant replacement from the shop i got it from “took me forever to convince them that there’s an actual issue that looked fine to them”
the unit i received also had a tent but from the right top sideas attached alone
dunno what to do, thinking about sticking with it for a while and try not to notice
I don't think he can return the phone if he already had the phone replaced. But sounds like he got the phone replace through a third party? Either way, contact apple and see what they can do. Will likely have to be another replacement.Just return and get the regular 13. From what I know, the regular 13s don’t have tinting issues.
Probably most of the iphone 13 series had this issue.because the apple 13 series display made by BOE company they cheated reduce the diplay quality for low cost apple identified and cancel the display project for iphone 14 series this is the problem majority wise in iphone 13 series there have issue like this its normal just use it but some times it’s annoying🙃hello, did you get your replacement? did it come out better? i am on my 4th iphone 13 pro max and still get slight red tint on the right side and a little less on the left side. all of them have the issue all 4, but only in one is visible on greys under 15% brightness the rest can only be detected if run grey slides, they are not red on the settings menu or the keyboard for example. in some of the photos i compared it to an iphone 12 mini, and a galaxy s10 plus and they also has a slight pink tint. i checked my iphone 11 pro max and galaxy s10 plus and half of the screen are pinkish as well, i think all oleds have this to a certain degree and the ones who dont see it just havent look hard enough. what do you guys think?
