120 Hz display... the one feature I don’t understand the buzz about. I’m sure I would disable it in setting in favor of battery life.

Edit: I have iPad Pro with ProMotion, I have never ever noticed the difference with my previous iPad.
Most of the attention is on 120Hz, but let's not forget about 1Hz (aka always on) ! My guess : always-on widgets on your lock screen.

If you are using an Apple Pencil, it does make a difference when drawing, especially with fast, broad strokes. But I agree, this isn’t a deal breaker. 🙂

So what you’re saying is you were joking but that I wasn’t? That’s called hypocrisy.
Big difference between the two and don't retract your reply after being called out. Makes no sense.

Okay... I didn't retract my reply so no worries! Also, no need to worry because you didn't "call [me out" because there was nothing for me to be called out about. So I'm not sure what you're saying here.

We just got a new gold color, then again, we got a new gold color every year, and they are nowhere near as consistent with gold as they are with white & silver. Black/Space Gray is somewhat consistent.
You are right about the gold being released every year but mark my words come next September they will come up on stage To introduce to us the iPhone 12s series with them mentioning about the beautiful "new" rose gold finish and "Gold Standard". Regardless knowing me I'll be picking one up either way haha!

Some people have undiagnosed vision problems, and believe red and green are just different shades of grey. Some people can’t hear high pitch sound and are convinced that it doesn’t exist.

I am supposed to notice it in my iPad Pro and to be honest I see no difference with my previous iPad pro that did not have ProMotion. Maybe I am just not the target user I guess.
If you are talking about 2017 iPad Pro, then it does also have ProMotion.

do they need it for marketing purposes? yes, almost every Android have it - and iPhone 'power' users want it

But does having 120hz allows regular joe to launch facebook faster, take better/faster photos, faster/more accurate typing NO - and yes, I switch from iPhone Pro to iPad pro and I don't see any difference
Imagine someone who stutters when speaking, that’s 60fps. Now, does fixing the stuttering allow him to eat more food and have better sex? No. Does it allow him to be more articulate and convey information more effectively? Yes. You are asking the wrong questions.
