So, overall the silicone is better than the leather case from apple?

Just bought an iPhone 13 with apple leather case and I'm very disappointed.

Hoping the silicone fits better?
I have both, the leather one just get scratched easier but it is what leather do, but the silicone gets shinny after a while and that is worse imo, the leather doesnt look bad scratched, it looks natural imo. :)

For me I prefer the leather case, I purchased blue fog silicone when it was released, but had been using Wisteria since I got the phone. I don't like the feeling of silicone.

Same issue with 14 Pro Max. Leather case sometimes pops out at the corners. I also find that the exposed antenna lines make it look like the phone has dents in it. Previous cases (11 and earlier) the leather lip would cover the antenna lines up.

I agree with this, I have thought the antenna lines were dents several times. I do like the way you can see the colour of the sides though with the case on. My silver looks good in a midnight case.

Elmers glue solves everything……….

(Note: Elmer’s glue is NOT permanent. Does not damage case. Does not damage phone. But it keeps corners from popping off.)
where did you apply the glue? tiny bit on the inside of case at the corners?

So I've had the Midnight leather case for a few months now

Dropped the phone 3 times

The first 2 times from hip height; no damage to either the phone or the case, and the phone didn't pop out of the case

2 days ago, I dropped it from my couch, no damage, but the phone slightly popped off 2 corners, like 2 mm.
Has never popped off before or while taking phone out my jean pockets.

Weird
Now I'm worried about future drops lol, I love the fit of the case but I might have to start looking for anther brand, as long as it's not thicker than the Apple leather case

On my second iPhone 14 Pro Max Midnight Leather case. The corners pop out if I carry the phone in my jeans front pocket. Getting fed up of this. Once again….”If only Apple was a trillion dollar company and could someone to look into this….or maybe do some product testing…if only” 🫤

I felt the same when it comes to the silicone case… all that money and still the same silicone that attracts dust like a freakin magnet! 😫

Wow, that's really unlucky! My 14 Pro Max Midnight leather case is a perfect fit on my phone. Maybe third times the charm??

I’m now on my third 🤦🏻‍♂️

All three cases have been a perfect fit and great in use etc but…..it seems I’m putting the phone in my pocket wrong 🤔 🤨

If I put the phone in my front jeans pocket with the screen facing out and the back of the case against my leg, the top left & bottom right phone corners will pop out….only a millimetre or two, but when I take the phone out to use it, I need to push the corners back into the case

If I put the phone in my pocket with the screen facing in i.e. against my leg, this doesn’t seem to happen. I guess the case is no match for the contours of my leg…..

It seems this is all completely my fault for not putting the phone in my pocket the right way, and not a design failure by Apple…..

Perhaps Apple will post a support video showing us the right and wrong way to put a phone in our pockets

🤔

I need to get out more 🫤
