Do you notice anything with the attached image? Mine looks pretty disgusting under 40% brightness.

yeah I can see it, looks like a red or pink gradient emanating from the top while the bottom is more closer to white

GUYS, I am on my fourth device. However, this one is good with uniformity but it’s got Green Tint all over the screen.

You generally get a pink or green tint or both. If it’s evenly bright personally I’d keep it as getting one that is even and has no tint is extremely unlikely on these LTPO screens.

I guess I would ask if the green tint detracts from you enjoy using the phone? For me, t would depend on how much the green tint showed up during normal viewing.

Decided to give it another shot to take the advantage of the extended holiday return policy as my other device was not and had uniformity issues. So returned that and picked up another one on Friday. This one is perfect. No pink tint issue in darkmode low brightness. Everything is just perfect and is a keeper.

Very much how my the display looks on my 13 Pro Max. The elusive unicorn displays ?

But only recently you were claiming you didn’t have tint issues. Then you say the above ?🤣👌🏼

The fact that the intensity and location of the red tint varies across a myriad of devices owned by the users in this forum, makes me think that this is not born from software issues nor it can be fixed by a few lines of code.

There’s only two way to way to approach this now if you are unable to skip the 13 series, ditch the 13 Pro series and go to the regular 13 (almost all users here face tinting are on their Pro devices) or keep returning until you get the perfect display for YOUR eyes.

I can assure you this is a thing on the non-Pro 13s as well. And the regular 13s were probably worse on average than the Mini 13s I checked in store. Nothing is safe :(

Dang it. No screens were spared it seems like.

I did a poll and it seems most people don’t have this issue mind not many ppl have voted lol

The screen tinting issue is not exclusive to the iPhone 13 series. Google Pixel 6, OnePlus and Motorola users are reporting tint issues. This issue has to do with where the display is cut from the sheet, middle being the best.

This is why the serial number is irrelevant to indicate display quality.

So like I said Samsung sending in their lower grade cuts to OEMs 🤣

It’s funny or sad depending on how you look at it, when exchanging a device that has a tint to one with no tint it’s so exciting at the time. Until a few days pass and you realize that it too had tints but not as bad as the original one 🤣
My current panel appears to be much sharper in displaying fonts and such. But that could be my imagination. Cue those threads about washed displays. Lol

Samsung is not immune to the tinting issue.
