It’s funny or sad depending on how you look at it, when exchanging a device that has a tint to one with no tint it’s so exciting at the time. Until a few days pass and you realize that it too had tints but not as bad as the original one 🤣
My current panel appears to be much sharper in displaying fonts and such. But that could be my imagination. Cue those threads about washed displays. Lol
Your right on the money I was really excited when I exchanged my first tinted phone only to realize this one has it to just not as bad your comments are the best 😂😂😂

Samsung is not immune to the tinting issue.

Course they are not. My first Note 20 Ultra had green tint.

But you missed my point. 🤣 I’ll clarify , some of their b grade panels slip into their own devices occasionally.

I don’t understand that if the end cuts are the of lower quality, why Samsung does to improve their production method so that the end cuts are of the same quality as the middle cuts.

Depends , if I’m under my sheets ( ooh err ) it’s about 5% brightness. Otherwise in darker rooms it’s a smudge below the sunlight icon on the brightness slider.
Do you notice the uniformity issue when you are 5%? I notice mine why I’m at 5 to 7% brightness in a dim or dark room anything at and above 8% looks good

Show me a pic of what you mean by 5%.

This is my screen at 5% screen brightness you can see red tint at the and bottom
Maybe it’s the picture but I don’t see any red tint. However, just know that taking a picture may not show much vs being an actual device itself as it’s it may not be the exact representation.
