Very uniform looking. Don’t see any tinting as welll. I would say that is a keeper.
It all looks good to me. There is nothing glaring about how the display looks. I would be happy with a display like that.
How much does it bother you? That is what I would ask myself to determine if I could live with it the way it is.
Indeed. But us perfectionist aka ocd massive find issues. It’s acceptable to me. The last one wasn’t. Hopefully we won’t be here next year talking about similar rubbish 🙏
How did you spend your last return window day hun? Are we allowed to use that word these days even?😂

I called the Apple store and they gave me an extra day to return it and I don’t know what words we can use they days to many snowflakes out there 😂
Lol these example pics are gawdawful quality (sorry taken with a iPhone 5s, it’s all I had lol). These were dark room, brightness as far down as it would go, and no True Tone or Night Shift garbage on. The rainbow at top you can thank the 5s for ha!!
So all that said spot on I think, at least in person. I got mine launch day. 2 years in a row pretty close to perfect (now that I’ve said that my 14 will likely suck lol)

So it sounds like that additional day will be the last day to return it for a full refund? After that day, your options will be either Apple Store screen replacement (with the risk of the Genius messing something up, like leaving a huge gap at the top) or ERS, which is a refurbished device -- on top of that, there is no guarantee that the new device is better. That being said, you can reject ERS replacements, but start to finish for each attempt takes maybe one week each time for the phone to come and for them to realize it's the same phone back to close the repair.
If you're not happy with what you have, I would just return it and play the lottery. You have more options that way.
Actually it borders on unicorn; hard to tell from my crappy pics but totally uniform woohoo! The rainbow effect was just the 5s camera.
Here are my current two screens (13 PM)… they don’t look to bad… what do you think this time?
The pictures were taken at 0%, 5%, 25% and, just for the fun of it, 100%. Night shift off but True Tone on (because that’s how I use it in everyday situations).

After 5 swaps, eventually i got a decent screen. Beautiful white and uniform. Some picture of my new (five) vs old (4th swap).
There something that bugs me: a very tiny chip on the metal frame.
What would you do?
