After 5 swaps, eventually i got a decent screen. Beautiful white and uniform. Some picture of my new (five) vs old (4th swap).

There something that bugs me: a very tiny chip on the metal frame.
What would you do?

I think i'd keep this one.
Hard to tell from photos but I take it the new one is on the right?

So far it kind of seems that way, screen is pretty uniform, no dings or scratches and no gap where the speaker is finally got a keeper very happy.
does it keep making that color change when you switch from white screen (camera roll) to alarm clock? I think they all do it because I've asked a lot of other people and it looks like a settling of colors.I think is a bug

I don’t think so because mine doesn’t do it. Not all of them does.

Sometimes it does, some it doesn't. To see it well you have to download a dark gray background and switch between that to settings put in light mode in a dark room at minimum brightness

Um. Yea I’ve done that and yes I don’t have any issues. As stated before, it doesn’t happen to everyone. Not all of them exhibit this issue.

now i'm thinking i should return my ... haha are you sure? to everyone I asked they said yes ... sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it does
nope my new phone does not do this, it’s one of the first things I checked and there is nothing, I also checked again today and still nothing I’m starting to think it’s an actual defect but not to sure.

you have to download the wallpaper that I put just above as an image, the gray one. then you put the settings menu in white mode and go from the settings menu to the gray screen, all at minimum brightness. you should notice slight color changes
That is fine! As soon as I try I tell you!
