Auto brigness on, nigth shift on and also true tone on (about 10% of brigness) .

The rigth it's the replacement unit of my iPhone 13 pro max bougth on november. (Today received).

The left one it's my original 13pm from november...

I don't know if I still see a little bit of pink or its just a placebo effect (or my mind) but I think that I Will keep this one, I took me about 7 weeks to get this replacement.
I can see bit of green tint on the bottom right corner, however I personally wouldn’t mind it. It is much better then the first one. And since the color shift is based on what has been said lotter, I will definitely keep the replacement. As there is no guarantee that your 2nd replacement wouldn’t be worse than this one.

Hey Guys, I have the same problem and I'm not sure what to do. Thinking about trying the lottery again but I'm scared that the next screen will have more tints than my current one. The first picture is not what it actually looks like thats just how the camera picked it up. The second pic is pretty close to reality. What do you guys think? Should I try again?
At least, what was your desition? I'm in the same position, my replace unit it's better than my original 13 pro max (I just post some pics and let me tell you that are very similar at your photos) but not perfect. So I'm in the same situation, wait about 7 weeks for another replacement an get a worst unit will be the most frustrating thing :'( and I really think that it's don't worth it. Just realize that don't exist a perfect unit.

Hey, I'm currently trying to return my unit. I don't want to spend so much on something I'm not really happy with. I use my Phones for a couple of years and I use my Phone a lot in Dark Mode with low brightness so it would just annoy me in the long run. I haven't decided yet if I will try again or hope for Improvements on the 14. Do you see it in daily use or is it the thought of it being there that makes you want to replace it?

Honestly as you mention, it's more the fact that I know it's there, than it actually affecting the performance or bothering me enough to distract me, in fact if I turn off Nigth Shift the screen looks pretty close to perfect, the fact that I have to combine all the situations (turn on nigth shif, have dark mode on, have True Tone on and 5%~10% brightness) is what makes me think I'm being too picky. I still haven't decided what to do, whether to keep it or go for my second replacement.

Maybe you should test it a for a bit and see if it actually makes a difference in daily usage and that it's not just the fact that you know that its there. Don't forget that the second replacement could be worse than the one you currently have.

Looks like 15.3 RC actually made a difference in terms of how low of a brightness you need to be at for the defect to show up. The non-uniformity on my screen is only obvious below something like 10% now. For those people who are sensitive it’s worth a shot to try the new RC.

I am actually somewhat surprised that the issue has partially improved via software. Perhaps the display calibration is updated?

Pretty sure you need to be able to see the display to calibrate it, mine looks exactly the same.

My 13P display had few defects. Washed out/bleeding on edges especially on top besides the notch. Uneven tint. Horizontal lines on center of display. Blue tint on bottom left edge that very noticeable even on 30% - 40% brightness. The picture attached is pretty much what I see with my display. Testing with grey picture really made it looks like It's an old used display. I'm always on dark mode. The bleeding on top edges & blue tint on bottom left edge is what made sent my iphone for display replacement. It was annoying. Chatting with apple support was easy. Service center guy said it's common with ip12 series but my 13p was the first he received for that service center. Hope to receive my iphone with good display, at least without anything too annoying.

What do you thing about my normal iPhone 13 screen with 0% brightness?
In real life, the left and right sides of the screen are a bit darker grey.

At the moment I don't use the iPhone 13 as my daily driver, so I can't say if it bothers me.

This is how mine looks with night shift and true tone off (first two images) compared to both on (last two).
All at the same brightness (~10% seems to be the worst at about 7% for me).
I'm already past my 14 day return window and didn't get it directly via Apple.
Not sure if I should go for a gamble and send it in under the 1-year warranty. I don't want to end up losing my IP rating purely and end up with a worse panel than the one I currently have.
What are your thoughts?

I edited the photo a bit.
Pretty much what it looks like at 0% brightness when I look at it in real life.

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing this display review that I've attached the link for. They specifically note a significant and consistent difference in color/grey uniformity between the 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max (with the Max being significantly less consistent). There's a picture of the two screens next to each other and the 13PM looks just like a lot of the phones that we've seen on this thread. Apologies if this has already been posted, but I just came across it when looking for any new information on this issue. I have a 13PM with a very mild case of the problem, but the inner OCD-ness in me is constantly looking for validation to seeing the problem as "normal" to keep myself from wanting to replace the device...again.

Thoughts on these two? Same phone, one is going back.
